Lunch?

We tried keto but after a few weeks we’re willing to kill for a real Italian spaghetti and meatball dinner with garlic bread.
Yea, I’m just at 72 hours and the novelty has worn off pretty quick. I like keto stuff, but I am a carb man through and through.

I had a bowl of beef (taco seasoned) with basmati rice, salsa, cheese and red pepper flakes. I call it Muscle Slop.

Keto is 25 gr of carbs a day, while paleo allows for 50-100 a day
Interesting, everything I’m reading about keto is saying just 50 grams or under of carbs. Anyway, the Benefiber fiber drink sucks up about 12 carbs to keep the plumbing working, a few peanuts, a couple of triscuits and chicken salad, so I expect I am more paleo than true keto, although I dropped five pounds in the first 48 hours. I’m sure that was water weight.

They'll tell you 50 gr of carbs to start...at least for a month...then 50-100 for maintenance.
There's a world of difference between 25 and 50 gr of carbs

Sadly I need to stop liking everything I really like in life to drop the weight. Looking at a monk month to kick the process off. Not liking the thought of it.

A different way to approach the diet thing is to eat about 1 handful of food every 2 hours. You'll be a little hungry all the time if you're doing it right. I lost like 35 pounds doing it. I ate whatever I wanted, except sugary stuff. Salad doesn't count. I'd have a handful of diced ham or chicken with lettuce and dressing at dinner to feel full once a day.

And I thought this was gonna be a meet & greet. :( Sounds good to me.

There is a shortage of Saltines…. My wife wants to make Beach pie and I went to 3 grocery stores before I found them. They were generic, there were only 2 on the shelf, and the sign said I could only get one box.
I know that feeling. This was the last box on the shelf! Last month the shelf was empty.

Packet of Ramen on a cold rainy day with a few add ons.
