Recently acquired 2 P365s.
First is a standard 3.1", manual safety version. Swapped the FCU into an X size grip module for mag compatibility with the 2nd one. Standard trigger with Mcarbo springs installed.
2nd one is a 365XL. 3.6", manual safety. Factory flat trigger. Factory springs.
I bought both of these used.
Doing some dry fire exercises I noticed that the standard version, the safety will not go on if it's not cocked. Also, with the safety on, I cannot rack the slide. This is the same in either grip module.
The XL, the safety can be placed in the on position regardless if it's cocked or not. With the safety on, I can still rack the slide.
Both safeties work in that they will not fire in the on position.
I don't see any reason they should function differently. Any thoughts?
