Your latest alcohol purchase

My lastest was a half gallon of Buffalo Trace, purchased in Grand Cayman Duty Free. It flew with me to Miami, where TSA confiscated it for not being correctly sealed! Talk about pissed! I argued with the minimum wage dumbass but he said “ I’m just doing my job.” We left and I went back and told the wife if I’m not back in 15 minutes, come get me out of jail! Went back and talked to his supervisor and he told that it had already been destroyed. I’m calling bullshit! I hope they choked on it! Just another reason to hate those blue shirted mini nazis!

Well...on the good news, their distillery is only a 6 hour drive from where you're at to Frankfort, KY.

I just looked at their website and HOLY COW! They have an "Experimental Collection" category, where they experiment with different recipes and THEY HAVE OVER 30,000 BARRELS OF EXPERIMENTAL WHISKEY AGING!

Today, I went to talk to a friend that manages a liquor store and also a member at my gun range. While in his office I noticed a bottle of Evan Williams Vintage bourbon (bottled in 2015) on his bookshelf. At one time, this could be found all over the state of GA. Maybe 2 years ago, Evan Williams Vintage became a KY only bourbon and when I saw it sitting in his office I had to have it. Ended up with 2 bottles and they are not very expensive, $30 each. If you ever see one on the shelf and you want a good everyday neat pour, buy it and thank me later.

So, so good! It is up to about $50 a bottle in Kentucky now, and sometimes a limited purchase:
