Is this the same BS training they give us at work? The run, hide, fight stuff?

Negative. This is my personal take on the topic. I base mind on the ABCā€™s of Active Killer events. We also review historical events, discuss mindset, church security considerations, ect. I assure you, it will be well worth your time.

Best of all, we get to put names with faces as we will get to meet one another in person.
Hope you can make it out!

I want the young woman who grabs a pair of scissors at my side not the couch potato dude who struggles to drag a potted plant to block the door to his office as shown in the DHS active shooter video.

I took a pass on this one, not brave enough to find out what the weather will be like that late in the evening, trying to get home from a town I've never been to! LoL.
I feel bad that I'll miss it.....maybe I can catch the next one.

Good choice. I just left work at about 930 in fayetteville and thought it was an ugly drive home. And I'm from michigan where snow is just part of life.

I feel better about not driving, then. It was bound to be a huge mess. Not to mention I don't enjoy night driving like I used to. Lol.

I know quite a few people from Michigan! I meet someone from there every few years, and my bff is from there! Y'all really like it here, I guess.....

You made the right decision. It was terrible on the roads!

Most folks that were signed up bailed. We only had 5 of the 25 originally slated to attend. It was still a really good time and learning occurred for sure. Hopefully we can get another one knocked out in that area in the near future.
