I like all kinds of beer, and like to try new stuff when I get a chance, but when it comes time to fill the cooler with cheap stuff my go to is Miller Lite bottles. What say you?

Long ago it was those little green bottles that looked and were shaped like kegs, have no idea what the beer was called, but it was cheap in Virginia in the 70s.

Like @Slacker , I've been with Stella for a long time now. The times I've been to Texas, Shiner Premium is my favorite.

The Mexican restaurant we go to about once a week has ice cold 32oz draft for $4. Modelo on draft has also become a favorite of mine.

"B double E double R U N" Beer run:cool:

PBR and Rainier was the fav for working in the garage..Olympia in stubbies when we could score it..Kokanee.. back before Henry Weinhards moved brewing ops from Portland to TX we lived on their Ice ale..so good. Man I miss the 90s sometimes.

Miller Lite, Bud Light or PBR...…. If on draft, definitely PBR.
About 7-8 years ago either my taste buds changed or Bud Light did. Today it has a sweet taste to me, especially out of a bottle. It used to be about all I drank.

Did you find a local place to get it?

No. I usually stop by a food lion in one of the neighboring towns to get it.

If you haven't tried it, you should. A six pack of 16 cans for about $5 and some change, after tax.

A store down the road has 16oz cans for 69 cents..... I grab a few every now and then.

Michelob Ultra, light, smooth, never gave me a hangover and gives all my buddies something to pick on me about.

Yeah, that's the bottle, but what have you got in there, man? Looks weird!

That is a pic of a vintage bottle. Over the years the fine malt liquor might have discolored a bit.

I remember the Keystone Light days in college..."get the mostest for the leastest".

Fun thread topic.

Coors original is ok too....

Micheloeb amber bach

Micheloeb light

......when i was realllllyy poor and wanted a buzz on the weekends...... The Beast Ice.

Back in the mid 70's when I was in school at Nooksoo the second time, Peace Street Market always had beer for 99 cents a sixpack. The brands ranged from Old Chicago (nasty) to Pearl (dishwater) to National Bo (can't remember) to Rheingold Chugamugs. I preferred the Rheingold because it tasted OK after you choked the first one down. The first one tasted like orange peels and coffee grounds.

I think Coors Light and Milwaukee's Best are two of the only ones I can't drink. Lol

Beast Light (Milwaukee's Best Light) was our Beer of Choice in College. Case for $5.49? We would get 3 cases for the weekend for the three of us and a keg every two weeks for the Building party...

Carling Black Label

I’ve been looking for it in gas stations since 1975

That's bottled by Dasani, right?
Step Dad is a bit of a beer drinker, Natty Ice man. Dr. tells him he has to cut back or drink something not so harsh so he decides to switch to Mich Ultra. I show up one Saturday afternoon and he’s pissed. He tells me he has drunk 30 beers and doesn’t feel a thing. Makes my mom go to the gas station and picks up a 12 of Natty Ice and when the first drop hit his lips he was a new man.
