Ima betcha it has made money!!!That FIE Titan has probably held it's value, don't you think?
@Etruett and I were talkin bout this very thing yesterday. We used to sell Blue and Pink and Blak RG .22s for $12.95 if I remember right. This was in 1962-64. We also so ld Colts and S&Ws right along side. Our "clientell" bought way more RGs than Colts and S&Ws. The Colts were about $75 and the S&Ws about $65.
At that time if a working man made $40 a week he was Doin IT!
A buddy of mine had one with black plastic grips his grandpa gave him. We shot the hell out of it when were teenagers.Anyone ever have an FIE Buffalo Scout?
I have owned one and I think my son has it now, but can't remember for sure. He does have a cheap SA 22 of mine and it might be the scout.Anyone ever have an FIE Buffalo Scout?
I have one with black plastic grips. Bought it from a coworker of my neighbors when I was 15 for $60. Neighbor didn't believe me when I told him my pops didn't care and made pops come over and buy it just to hand it to me. Turns out I would end up owing my life to that little scout.Anyone ever have an FIE Buffalo Scout?
I went to work in the first dental lab I worked at in 1965. Jalenko Midas Grade Gold was $32 an ounce. I made $25 a week.Seriously, this is like reminiscing about the price of gold & silver in 1965.
Can't leave us hanging like that!!!Turns out I would end up owing my life to that little scout
