A friend of the family just dropped off a handful of aweful looking krusty rusted old guns. They asked me to look them over and fix what's worth fixing. They want anything that is useable to be cleaned up and lubed so they can shoot them and pretty much toss anything I say I junk.
Upon first glance im thinking it's almost all junk. Mostly guns with no hope (although some cool wall hangers)
Then I come across a 4" 38 special Colt diamondback! Wtf! It is definitely salvageable but sad to see it so neglected. kinda threw me for a loop.
I was planning to bead blast and rattle can anything that I thought was worth fixing up for them. I quote "we don't care what they look like, just get them going if you can" lol.
I don't know know if I can bring myself to spray paint the Colt.
No pics for now my phone is messed up. I'll try to barrow my brothers phone and get a pic.
