Commie Rifle Pics Thread

Old(ish) and new: Century M70B1 and Zastava USA ZPAPM70, along with a few Yugoslavian and Serbian patches from various eras.

Gentlemen, I have captured a unicorn.
Unfortunately came with two of the mags in the pic, but I have a bunch of surplus ones on the way.
For us non-commie-rifle-folks...

what is it exactly that makes that a unicorn?

It's not a Century build. It's Czech Small Arms/Czechpoint. They've been extremely hard to find as of late. This one in particular is I think called their "military classic" and has the swanky beaver barf stock instead of the folder.

Yes that would be rare here, even the Century built ones are not exactly plentiful.

Don't remember if I posted this Egyptian Maadi before. 1983 dated. (Disregard the 7.62x54R cartridge in a M13 linked clipped to barrel)

"P" lower left of rear sight. "P" marking also used by Romania

Selector marking S-A-R, same as Romania. Maadi should be in Arabic script. Possible Khyber Pass gun? Don't see many Maadi's even when I was in Iraq. Only went to Egypt once way back in 85' working with the Egyptian 777 Special Forces. Only thing I remember about their AKs were that they were AKs.

Rare Russian Aluminum Waffle magazine in gun.

Chicom Type 56 marked but Khyber Pass made. Serialed bolt failed GO gauge and replaced. Will chamber Tula live ammo now. Won’t except Russian mags but did find one KP magazine that locks in ( mag paddle needs filling down). Arabic writing inside lower hand guard which is no inter changeable between Russian and Yugo parts.

Rear sight ladder has Russian “n” instead of Chinese “D”
IMG_1839.jpg
Stock not Chinese bore will NOT take a .308 barrel straightness gauge (too tight). Notice ruff machining of FCG. PG is Russian laminate made locally. Wall hanger for ODA

ever since I traded my arsenal slr95 off I’ve wanted another milled arsenal
Saw this at the Raleigh show, I don’t recall seeing these too often so picked it up, has a couple of miles on it but hopefully it has a few left in it...
I hope this SAM7SF lives up to its online reputation

These things keep following me home for some reason ... maybe something to do with the price? Chicom sporting a Russian stock. Blade bayo and hardware are included (not sure why the guy took it off).

$200

These days for $200 I would probably have a closet full too.

Walking home with this Egyptian today. My second Maadi and my first MISR S/A. Not quite as nice as my PARS import, but comes equipped with Egyptian wood, grip and sling, as well as a few spare mags and some PDX1 7.62x39 ammo.

Pretty fair walking price in today's market ... Whey oh whey oh, ay oh whey oh!

Welp, big brother VEPR liked the tweaks I made to lil' 5.45, so here we are again. Definitive Arms, TDI Arms, Khyber Customs, JMac Customs, RS Regulate, Circle ((10)), Echo 93, BelOMO.

And I remember way back when I thought Magpul made expensive stuff...

Seeing some parts kit/US-barreled AIMS-74 builds come back in stock at banana prices and figured I'd dig out my old CUR-2. A lot of miles on this thing and it's still a peach to shoot.

Got dongs for days in my parts bin but arguably this one is the best looking, and I prefer the matching UHG over its bakelite counterpart:

Been working on slimming down my SLR-107. Used to mount an extended Midwest Industries quad rail with the top cover for a full size Aimpoint.
Final setup is a Midwest Industries railed gas tube, and a Magpul MOE hand guard. Optics this time around are a Bushnell TRS-25.
