But this pertains to the manufacturers who produce these revolvers or have decided not to produce any more for them. First let me say that I grew up preferring S&W revolvers and found them to be the favorite over Colt & later on Ruger. Now that S&W is not producing any more revolvers for these calibers I have been forced to become a Ruger owner in spite of my original preferences. Although I am not speaking from experience I am convinced that these are both well suited for self defense as well as shooting paper targets or small game. I am very anxious to hear from those who do own & shoot these calibers and their opinions based on their experience. I also appreciate that these revolvers have a larger capacity and can shoot four different calibers. Thanks for looking and any insight you wish to offer.

You can kill wild hogs with the 327 Federal Magnum , teach someone to shoot with 32 SW & long and have a soft shooting viable defensive round with the 32 HR magnum. Also not recommended but you can shoot .32 acp out of one, expect key holing at 50 feet though Read this and good luck https://www.luckygunner.com/lounge/why-the-best-snub-nose-caliber-is-32/

@Sam Miller , I have a 4 inch adj sight 631. Michael loaded me some 100 grain full wadcutters at 1,000 FPS that will Crack a turtle's shell Right Now! It's a great little walk about gun...the real Kit Gun from S&W.

@Sam Miller, don't I know you????
Yes Sir, we are acquainted, first met in Lexington, S.C. during a S&W CA Southeast Bunch gathering. I already told Jeppo that I was envious of all the cool stuff you & your machinist buddy had come up with. Hope you are doing well during this Virus!

Yes, thought you would if anyone did, I am only able to sport a 3" SP-101 Ruger that I haven't even burned any powder in yet! I'm sold on all the .32 variations and disappointed that S&W decided to drop out of the competition but with their present quality control it may be worn out going back for corrections to the manufacturing errors. Did Jeppo tell you I said Hello?

Got a couple of Taurus snubs in 327 and one in .32 magnum.Think I have a 4" taurus 32 magnum as well.Haven't been that deep in that safe in a while.I like the Charter professional in 32 magnum with the 3" barrel(7 shot).Haven't run across one to buy yet and wisth there was a 3" 327 magnum in a 7 shot for carry.Ideal IMO.

Ive seen a couple of the Charter arms Professional's come through the shop, and they are pretty nice! Way smaller then one would expect for a 7 shot revolver, and a decent caliber to boot. I really liked the grips aswell.

If I was to get a .32 magnum, Id seriously consider one of them.
