What do you suck at?

In addition to being expert in slicing through extension cords with a hedge trimmer, I have hidden another serious shortcoming.

For most of my career, I traveled. Some trips were relatively short and others lasted months and covered countless cities and countries. I covered millions of miles, thousands of flights and gained elite status with many airlines and hotel operators.

At the end of all that, I still can’t pack a suitcase. I agonize for hours, pack more stuff than I can possibly wear and break the backs of baggage handlers.

I feel so free and lightheaded admitting this. :D

Every damn time I trim the bushes around the house I end up cutting the electric cord. It’s gotten to the point that I now buy 3 a year knowing I trim twice a year so I have one left.
What’s your kryptonite?

On my job sites it comes in waves. None cut for maybe even years then up to five in a week.

My last was brand new skill saw (twice) and brand new jigsaw cord. In two days...

I hadn't done it before. So the boss mercilessly ridiculed me for it. My tools btw. Two weeks later he got his saw twice, my saw once and one of my extension cords twice more:rolleyes::D

It comes in waves. Haven't had a cord chop in over a year now on our sites:).

Prolly will monday;)

Oh, then what do I suck at?

Home project procrastinating... I have a thousand that are 50-90% done.

I do my best work at work clearly. But at home. I'm not getting payed so I get to functional but need to finish...

I used to have beautiful handwriting. Had folks accuse me of having a girl write something for me, even. Then the Army went digital & while I can type 50 words per minute, my handwriting is now almost illegible.

Cleaning up after a project. Ok, cleaning up in general. Some of you have seen my garage, holster shop.

I’m very good at stacking and packing things though. My garage is 100 lbs of crap in a 20lb bag.

I suck at finishing projects and organization. In February I organized the enclosed part of my barn to replace the handlebars on my bike. Knocked it out and within a month the barn is a disaster that I haven’t gotten around to cleaning back up. Also started a pergola in April or May around our fire pit and I haven’t finished it yet. I have the corner posts concreted in but haven’t put the top pieces around yet.
