NFA pic thread

Baffles all look OK? I'd hope with .45 baffles and 9 ammo they're fine, but you never know.

The good news is it's replaceable, and possibly at zero cost to you.
I'll check the baffles in a few. I did look through the suppressor and it appeared to be ok...

That was one magazine so I didn't check it. I only shot one mag.

If it was new and possibly still have some oil or something on it.....I know people who check them after every mag, if not 10 rounds or so. The teflon tape prevents you from having to do this

Also, when you tighten the can, run it all the way down on the threads, back it off an eighth of a turn or so, then SNAP it back down with your wrist. This really helps keep it locked down

Shot my rugged obsidian with the 9mm end cap on my 9mm sp-01. Stupid Winchester ranger jhp. :(

Contact Rugged and they will most likely have you send them the suppressor. I had another customer that had the same issue and it had something to do with
the blast chamber. They replaced the damaged 9mm cap also at no charge.

Thx Scott! RMA sent

I can finally contribute here after waiting for what seemed like forever for my first stamp! Still need a riser for the red dot and a hand stop. It's not much, but it's mine!

7.5" w/ a KAK slim can, 10" keymod, 5.56
Spikes Honey Badger lower, magpul K grip and MOE stock.

Looks good!!

But you have to give details!! Look like it might be a 7.5" with a blast can? 5.56?

Pistons and end caps for the most part but this is not recommended. Please use the correct parts per your owners manual.
Damn. Ok. Any chance you have any Rugged fixed mounts/pistons in stock?

1/2x28 piston and a 1/2x36 fixed mount. Maybe a 5/8x24 fixed for good measure.

I could also do a 1/2x36 piston and fixed spacer in a pinch.

Didn't realize all the extra parts I would need. Should have been but this stuff while I waited.

We have the Rugged 1/2x28 piston and 5/8x24 fixed mount in stock here with free shipping: http://tarheelstatefirearms.com/store/index.php?route=product/category&path=57_106

Have not seen the Rugged fixed mount or piston in 1/2x36 available as of yet.

We have the SilencerCo Octane 1/2x36 fixed mount in stock which will work fine on the Rugged. http://tarheelstatefirearms.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&path=57_87&product_id=178

Update on my Rugged.

Rugged: We found that there was not a perfect alignment so we replaced your piston, spring retainer, and noticed your last baffle was loose so we replaced that as well.

Amnesia: Is this something that I could have prevented?

Rugged: There wasn't anything you could have done to prevented.

FYI: They also fully cerakoted the suppressor. The older obsidians just had the last removable part coated.

Top notch customer service.

Did the same for another customer of mine. He went to their shop and they took care of him while he waited. Great guys at Rugged.

Finally got some optics...

APC9 has an omega 9k and the scorpion has a griffin rev9 in short config. The APC9 feels like a compact tank compared to the evo...

Sweetness!

You all suck!:D I'm STILL awaiting for my first one! 10 months and counting! I won't even see the one I bought before Christmas till Trumps next election , if then! Damn it, damn it, damn it! :(

Damn... Now I need one of those... And Botach has it for $110 shipped...

I've liked mine so far. I think the only way to get a smaller profile would be like one of those law tactical folding adapters. That's a good price. I bought mine when I worked for a LGS and the cost I paid was around $85-90
