I'm having issues with my glock OEM slide fitting my poly 80. It wants to hang on the rear slide tracks. When I put the slide on and ease it back it makes contact with the (as looking down the sights) right rear track. Could this be trigger related? It's an agency arms trigger, maybe needs fitting throwing the slide off? Or could it be something else...
Looking for a competent gunsmith to maybe take a look near Mooresville. Thank you

Just a thought...

Be prepared to be turned down. Paying someone to complete, or be a part of, the manufacturing of a weapon would require the person to have a license to manufacture. Even though they would only be helping with the last 2%. Then, I presume they would need to transfer it to you.

Completing an 80% (manufacturing a firearm for yourself) is to be completed by yourself according to the ATF.

I realize it's minor but this came to mind.

The thought of that was in my head as I typed.

Are you building the full sized P80 with the polymer rear rails or the new P80C with the steel rail insert? If it is the full size with the poly rail you will probably just need to file a little more off on the rail that is making contact. It is easiest to start by fitting the slide on from the back instead of the front. this will make sure that the thickness fits the slide channel without hanging up.

It's the new compact with steel guides. I am hoping I don't need to take a file to it but it's looking like I may need to. Have some good Nicholson files that would make it easy. Just seeing if I'm missing something

I forget who, but there was a YouTube personality that had to slightly file down their rear rails. Not much, just enough to get the slide to fit. He put ~100 rounds through it after the slide would fit and it had broken in.

OK, those have a tendency to not be bent exactly straight or flat on top. You can lay a straight edge cross ways and see if they are. If not you can put it in a vice and tap them down with a drift slightly. I had to do that with mine as well as take a file to it. I also had to file a bit off the front rails to get it all aligned just right. There is a little help on You Tube about it somewhere. I saw it after I had already built mine. Once you get it fitted you can polish it to where you cant tell it was filed.

Bingo. You beat me to a possible solution. I had to do something similar on a G19 build.

Could be the trigger assembly. I put a new connector in my new glock and it did not go back on the last third of the rails. Make sure the trigger is seated and the pins are put back in the correct order of assembly.

Hmmm
I mean the trigger works when I force the slide back. All pins are in...
Didn't get much time to fiddle with it today

Didn't realize that was your picture. Not the seating of the trigger. Mine would not go all the way back. Looks like you are there looks ok if it shoots.
