I see how ya are!The magazine promotion is still going on. The 4 I ordered should be here next week.
I thought you had enough 30rd-ers.I see how ya are!
Is there such a thing?I thought you had enough 30rd-ers.
Nope, that's why I may have to order a few more.Is there such a thing?
Are the loaded magazines sealed for long term storage? If so, do you ever worry about the mag springs weakening under prolonged tension?Too many mags... Said no one ever.
Like a tactical Uber geek I tried finding the right answer about weakened springs. The internet is full of conflicting data. Some say unloading and loading constantly causes more stress than being loaded and compressed. The one piece I finally read where I said screw it was in relation to police mags. They do not have an official rotate your magazines or carry ammo policy. My prolonged storage will consist of maybe a year. I talked my wife into we needed a food saver and I've vacuumed more ammo than food. The longest I've let ammo sit in a magazine was 2 years. I found it buried in safe when moving. I ran the magazine without any ftf or fte. (G22 mag)Are the loaded magazines sealed for long term storage? If so, do you ever worry about the mag springs weakening under prolonged tension?
Sounds good to me. I use to keep a pistol loaded for home defense but was worried about the magazine springs weakening. So, I would switch out mags every 2-3 weeks to alleviate my concern. Now I just use a revolver and don't worry about it.Like a tactical Uber geek I tried finding the right answer about weakened springs. The internet is full of conflicting data. I just received my scorpion magazines from CZ-USA. I ordered (4) 30rd-ers and, as always, I test each empty mag in the intended firearm to make sure they fall cleanly when ejected. However, these CZ-USA mags stick and do not freely eject. I have to depress the mag release and while holding the release down simultaneously pull the new magazines out. Since I have never experienced this or trained to do this I'm kind of worried there may be something wrong with the magazines. The original 20rd magazine that came with my scorpion, falls out freely when ejected.
Have any of you who use CZ-USA scorpion magazines encountered this problem? Do you think this problem may correct itself with use And, should I be worried? Thanks
I'll give it a try. Thankshttps://www.carolinafirearmsforum.com/index.php?threads/scorpion-mag-drop-free-mod.12050/
