What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

Mailing a check to Chief for a .45 mag holder to match the G21 holster he made. Got confirmation it'll be finished up this weekend!

Oh yeah I have traded one POS Block for another [emoji38]
I love my airweight so much had to go wheelgun carry 100% of the time with a G19 backup in close proximity

Mailed a check earlier this week to a member here for him to conduct two transactions for me.

So I've paid for a little brass (210 .38 special, 100 SPP .45 and 10 .357 magnum) as well as trading 49 pieces of LPP .45 brass...and that transaction is done as of yesterday.

Also paid for 1200rds of M22...just waiting on that trade to be finalized.

Then I gotta finally get my stuff from a couple hours away. :D

I was at Walmart in Simpsonville, SC last Saturday with my youngest daughter. We were there to get our fishing licenses.

I saw CCI .22LR on the shelf.

"Any limit on your .22LR?"

"Nope."

"I'll take 10 boxes."

"Standard, Stinger, or low velocity Quiet?"

"You have Quiet? I'll take 5 Quiet and 5 Standard."

"Looks like we only have 3 Quiet."

"3 and 7, then."

I have thought about doing the whole KAT setup on mine. It has a terrible trigger
Mine was averaging 5 lb 8 oz; springs dropped it to 4 lb 4 oz. $30. We'll see how it shoots after a few hundred rounds.

Good luck!! Once you do the first, you'll wonder why you ever paid for one to be assembled. (and hopefully you have some punches handy, and a cotter pin or something else for the pivot pin detent)

Just curious...what are you going to use as a how-to guide as you proceed?

Gonna use this video as a guide for the lower assembly.

If you want another source, Brownells has a nice how-to: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/lid=11011/learn/

If that link doesn't work (and it's iffy depending on what you're browsing on), go to the Desktop Site if you're on mobile, click Learn, then find Build an AR. There's a section for assembling the lower.

7 short video clips, plus a PDF (for each clip) you can print out. I still grab the PDFs I keep store away with the tools, even after building a dozen or so.

ETA: forgot, the buffer tube and stock are in the next section, two sections here: http://www.brownells.com/.aspx/lid=11012/learn/

Great. Thanks for the links.

This weekend, some Cleanshot and Blackout powder, along with WSPs for good prices down at the sectional.
Oversize 6-48 screws and tap from Brownells because a cheap drill press isn't.
Wilson Valu-line hammer, some plunger tube, and an ejector for the 1911 build, I think that's enough junk to make it smoke.

Just got this delivered today and mocked up until the remaining parts arrive tomorrow.

The start of my Honey Badger clone:
Aero M4E1 Gen2 upper and 9" MLOK in FDE
Ballistic Advantage 8" 300BLK

I ordered a couple of these stocks for my boy and me. They will go on a couple of CZ455's that I have up in the gun room. Same specs but with different colors. Campfire camo for me. He wanted the Rhino camo. They should be her near Christmas time.

I also sent off a 455 barrel to get threaded. That'll be back next week.

Missed out on the 8.99$ 357sig magazine sale two weeks ago and stumbled on this and quickly placed an order.

Got some of that Malaysian 7.62 x 51 in the big can that Midway had on sale a couple weeks back. Looked pretty good so when the small cans went on sale a couple days ago I ordered up a few more. Haven't shot it yet though.

Drake Safe.

Used, but a nice price. It's in a little worse shape on the outside than I hoped, but I can deal with it. I think I'll leave the door original, and then sand/paint the rest of it.

Even worked out a crazy lucky deal to have Greg Drake pick me up to go get it. Brought it back here, and he greased up the bolts, changed the combination, and changed out the key cylinder since the previous owner couldn't find the keys.

Lotsa guns to buy...fill that sucka!
