This is a hypothetical situation.
I am not involved.
Asking for a friend.
Suppose a person, let's call him Fred, is firing his home produced firearm of glock 19 pattern and gets frequent light primer strikes.
So Fred tries this other guy's, let's call him Bill, home produced firearm of glock 17 pattern and gets the same frequent light primer strikes. This uses different ammo than the 19.
Bill shoots his 17 and gets no light primer strikes.
Bill shoots Freds 19 and gets no light primer strikes.
Only difference between Bill and Fred is that Bill lets completely off the trigger between each shot and Fred only lets up to the reset.
Fred tries letting off the trigger completely between shots and has no malfunctions.
What could be the problem?
