Prayers for my wife

My prayers for her and your family.

But I would like to thank everyone again for the kind responses and prayers as it truly does mean more than most people might think. If I have been unable to answer phone calls or respond back to messages from anyone I apologize and I'm not trying to ignore you or anything else but sometimes I have to leave my phone in the patient room when my wife is having some tests done with the computer's and the magnetic equipment being sensitive to other electronics from what the doctors and tech's said. But I will respond back to everyone once I'm able to get time and when it's not going to interfere with my wife and her treatment.

If I have been short or too direct to anyone I also apologize for that too. I have just been dealing with a lot of things recently and I have 5 kids that are worried about their mom and I don't know what to say to them to make them feel better or understand what is going on, and I have been trying to not show my worry or concerns to her so she can try to stay in good spirits but it's getting harder everyday and I have only slept for 3hrs in almost 3 days now with everything going on and I still have to deal with other daily things that have to be done too. So if I come off like a asshole, I'm sorry and it's not personal and I don't mean anything about it. It's just my stress and worry and I don't mean anything by it.

I'm not trying to poor everything out on everyone and I'm sorry if I'm doing that now, but I can't vent in front of anyone here and get this off my chest with anyone here because they will see just how worried I am and I don't want it to get to my wife or kids. So I figured it was safer to just de-press on the forum for a few minutes while she was sleeping. But again thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers and I will keep everyone updated on her improvements. God bless

That's what makes this a different kind of place than just a trade blanket.

Vent here, regain your strength, then go back and care for your family with renewed vigor and hope.

To all: I was in the middle of a deal with the OP and he managed to finnish it despite all of this, Kudos to him.

I feel rather stupid because it did not occur to me to check if there was any post like this until now. My best wishes for a good outcome for your wife if I may.

I just wanted to give everyone a update on my wife and her condition. I'm with her now at the surgery center in Concord and she is about to go back to have her second and hopefully last surgery on her liver to remove the cancer spots and hopefully she will be able to start feeling better soon. She had her gallbladder removed last surgery and they biopsied the liver at that time and we got the results which required another surgery which she is having in a few minutes. So if everyone can please keep her in your prayers and thoughts for a great surgery and fast recovery I would greatly appreciate it very much. Thanks again everyone and God bless.

that's impressive of him to keep up with it.
though if his wife is anything like mine, more than an hour or two of her being stuck in a hospital bed not being able to walk away from my stupidity usually gets her saying "isnt' there a gun store or comic shop around here you can go to?"

I would like to thank everyone again for the kind words and prayers for my wife and family and I wanted to let everyone know how she is doing.

She was able to come home this morning and we just got her situated and comfortable. She is going to be limited to the bed for a few days except for small amount of walking around the room and walking to the bathroom in small distances at first so she doesn't overdo it. She has 4 incisions 3in long except for one being 4in on her stomach above her belly button. The other 3 are 2 on her right side and 1 in the center of her stomach about 8in above the one on her belly button and they said her gallbladder was like a sack of large marbles with the gallstones and her liver cancer luckily was on the end of her liver and was able to be completely removed with that location. But she had a artery that was running between the gallbladder and liver and the surgeon accidentally knicked the artery but they were able to stop the bleeding fast and complete the surgery. They kept her for a few days so they can keep an eye on her so if she started bleeding again she would already be at the hospital and they can fix it fast. They also wanted to manage her pain and everything too.

But she is home now and sleeping and she will be sleeping and resting for the most part of a week or so and doing minor physical therapy to get her abdominal muscles back in healthy condition and limited walking around. But she can't lift anything over 1lb for 2 weeks until the stitches and everything is healed up so she doesn't tear anything. But she is in great spirits and happy to be home and she was very happy and moved by the response of support and prayers from everyone here on the forum when she read the messages I showed her from everyone here and she wanted me to thank everyone from her also. So from my wife "thank you everyone and God bless you all", and I concur with what she said also.

Awesome news!! Glad she's home and on the way back to health. You get credit for gokd husbanding, too.
I just try to do the best I can and put everything I have into my family and trust in God to help me with what I can't do myself and keep praying for his guidance. I'm no different than any other husband that truly loves and cherishes his wife and kids, but I appreciate you saying that.

For your wife, the photo was taken at the Rose Garden at the Raleigh Little Theater several years ago.

Any update you maye be able to share OP? I am a bit concerned about this since it's been quite a while.

Yes sir, sorry for not updating sooner but I have been busy with everything trying to catch up on projects I promised members and other people that I took on before my wife had her medical issues and I recently had a few medical problems myself that I have been trying to deal with also.

But her surgeries went well and she had a hard time recovering because of the pain she was having due to the removal of her gallbladder which was like a large sack of marbles from the doctor's description and she had close to 20% of her liver removed and had four large cuts made on her with one starting at the top of her belly button going up 3-4 inches that was the one that hurt her the most, then a 2 inch on her right side closer to the abdominal area and then another 2 inch in the center of her abdominal area and then a 1 inch to the left of center of her stomach. Lucky and by the blessing of God they were able to remove all the liver cancer in the peace of her liver they removed because it was located on the side near the gallbladder and she had a artery between the gallbladder and liver that was feeding the area and was why the cancer was in that area only because her cancer was caused by birth control and and it caused it gallbladder stones too. We didn't know that people over the age of 30 years old should not be taking hormone birth control and it can massively increase cancer chances in people that do use hormone birth control. The blood artery was feeding the hormones directly to that area and she went from no cancer too stage 2 liver cancer in a few months because of birth control at her age. She was taking birth control since she was 17 years old except for when we had our kids and she is 40 years old now and shouldn't have been taking hormone birth control for the past 10+ years but her doctor never said anything about it causing cancer.

But thanks to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and a very strong woman in my wife, a great surgery doctor and of course all the greatly appreciated prayers from everyone here on the forum and everyone else she is doing a lot better and she's cleared to go back to work this week and hopefully everything will be ok from now on.

Glad to hear that you got all the cancer, that is the most important thing. Sometimes doctor's are strangely shy to mention such important things.

Glad for promising results. May God continue to bless you and your family with his peace and strength.

I would like to thank everyone here for the thought's and prayers for my wife and family and for all the kind and thoughtful responses from you all. I would like to also think everyone that let me vent my frustrations and everything with them and get things off my chest so I can not worry about that stuff and I can focus my attention on my wife and kids during these very hard past few weeks. Also thank you for the people that I made deal's with and took on projects to repair guns, or make parts, leather work, machining work, and everything else I had planned to work on. I appreciate your understanding of my situation that occured with my wife having health issues and her cancer treatment and surgeries. You all were very understanding and helpful by allowing me to postpone the work or giving me a time extension to complete the work, and for the people that I had previously made deal's with on trades or purchases and sales thank you for being able to work with me on the time and place to meet up and working with me around the very busy treatment schedule for my wife and her treatment and surgeries. If I left anyone or anything out please know that I appreciate everything and everyone that helped me with anything no matter how big or small, I appreciate it and you very much and you helped me in more ways than you can understand. God bless you all and thank you again from the bottom of my heart and my wife's heart.
