Eclipse 2024

Met a family who drove from Iowa to Texas for it. Another couple came from Missouri. I’m here visiting family. Want to get food for that hour, forget it. No school today for kids. My life is now complete 😉.

I don’t know what was better, the sun turning a bit dim and orange, or my neighbors full blown beer fuel’d domestic fireworks when they went at each other over a moved lawn chair. They missed the entire thing. 🤣

Noticed its getting lighter again. Didn't really get too dim here, unlike 2017, but it still had their eerie hazy look and feel. I can understand why eclipses used to spook early, primitive, peoples.
