You weren't happy with it?I didn't think it was possible for anyone to mess up Pro-Am style shooting. CCSC said, hold my beer!
You weren't happy with it?
Just thought it was a terrible display of what Pro-Am is supposed to be. SPSA knows how to do Pro-Am! Stages, especially stage 3, had absolutely no flow at all! 41 plates, 19 second par time, 10 round mags....
Did you shoot the match Charlie? Just curious as you seem to be quite the expert!Wow. Three mag changes minimum (3.0 seconds total), three shooting postitions (so 2 location changes @ 1.5 seconds each, so 3.0 seconds total), a draw (0.75 seconds) for a total non-shooting time of 6.5 seconds, leaves 41 plates in 12.5 seconds. That's a "generous" 0.3 second split per target with no misses.
I get that cleaning stages is not what this is about, but....
As Robin Williams noted in his set on golf, At least in golf, "They put a little flag in the hole to give you hope!"
Stage 3 was stand and shoot.Did you shoot the match Charlie? Just curious as you seem to be quite the expert!
Yes, and it sucked!Stage 3 was stand and shoot.

Then your points are irrelevant. No I did not shoot it, but I can do the math and I am used to it after trying to coach my son in stage planning.
Then your points are irrelevant.
I can do all things behind the keyboard which strengthens me...
My apologies. I didn't catch the sarcasm in your post. I 100% thought you were being serious. I wanted to see the .75 draw and shot on the 5" Steel at 15 yards! LolMy apologies. I read the thread, and your comment. In attempting to understand, I it did some math that I thought supported your conclusion.
I didn't catch the sarcasm in his post. I really thought he was serious.I think Charlie is on your side dude. lol
