Here’s one I picked up for my M44 that had a missing bayonet. It’s new/old stock, and luckily it’s the proper 1945 date.View attachment 29530 Need a Mosin bayonet in here.

YesDo they still do bayonet training in the military? I remember mine well.
Wasn’t talking about themArmy did away with Bayonet Assault course training in 2010...still do pugils, but no assault courses anymore...bayonets are now something of a novelty..."a more elegant weapon for a more civilized age."
Nothing says civilization quite like ripping someones guts out with "cold hard steel".Army did away with Bayonet Assault course training in 2010...still do pugils, but no assault courses anymore...bayonets are now something of a novelty..."a more elegant weapon for a more civilized age."
Here are a few. Correct me if I am wrong on origin. Top to bottom, German Mauser, Romanian, Yugoslavian and a Colt US M8A1

Thanks, was hoping I would get some good info on the pictures. Really do not know much about the them, just cannot pass them up when I see them. Guy at work was broke and I got that one for 10 bucks. The bottom Colt is a US M7 bayonet for the M16 series, the M8A1 is the nomenclature of the scabbard. The M8A1 scabbard can also be used with the M3 trench knife and M4 (M1 Carbine), M5 (M1 rifle) and M6 (M14 rifle) bayonets.
