Post-41F NFA Stamp Tracking thread

It was an issue with that kiosk. A couple of weeks were on me. Had to get the wife over to Jeremy's shop. We went through the motions and then nothing happened. We inquired and SS had to do something on their end. It finally got submitted/mailed to ATF in December. Not a good first time around with the kiosk. But, I guess we're in the system, so there's that.

We got a call about a week ago that there was a signature issue for my wife again. This was the third time that she "signed" her portion of everything. I'm not a fan of the Kiosk. Good news is that I may be approved in Q1 2018.

Gemtech Mist. Trust F4. 512 days from purchased. 405 days from check cashed.

Man it is a good thing SS has that "barcode" to speed up the process and fast track applications. LOL!

I got all the paperwork set with Carolina Smoke and Guns (TSConver) this morning. Made everything really easy to do!

Now the wait begins, Shawn was saying that the wait is about 6 months.

No system is perfect and they all have hiccups. I look forward to seeing you this week and hope I can work out a new deal to ease the pain of the SS growing pains. Thank you for your patience.

Check was cashed on 11/11/2017 for kriss vector 45.

Check was cashed on 2/4/2018 for sig mpx.

Check was cashed on 2/11/2018 for ps90.

As of late that is when we have been getting individual forms back from but still have many individual applications before them that are still pending.

Well I hope I don't end up being one of those that's has to watch everyone who filed after me get their stamp. I have 2 checks cashed in Dec

I had two poor bastards that we submitted individual applications for in Nov and Dec 2016 and their forms finally arrived approved
in the last 2 weeks. Both had some issue with the background check that held up the applications according to NFA branch.
A mere 14 months wait time.

I submitted mine as an individual instead of a trust :D
So did I...all four of my Jan cans.

Figured I had plenty to share already.

Is it fair to assume once you've had a few stamps come through there is less of a chance of this happening in the future?

One would think so. When applications are submitted weather it be trust, individual or LLC, a back ground check is done every single time on each person.
If you were to say submit applications on more than 1 item at a time, they do not do just 1 back ground check for the multiple items, they submit a background check
for each item/application. That does not make sense but that is what they are doing.

I doubt it. I am sure you are an upstanding citizen.
Well opinions vary :) but Saturday was the first time I have not been to your place in a month. I started shaking and was disorientated then I realized it was the THSF DT's :)

In actuality, I drug my feet a little sending in my apps.

My checks weren't cashed until 2/1.
I don't know when mine were cashed. Maybe after that.

SS said ATF is running 4-5 weeks out after they receive applications to cashing checks at this point.

Is there a reason why? I submitted 2 form 4's in december and both checks were cash within a week. I did a form 1 which was delivered last monday and still haven't seen the check cashed yet.

No clue but I’m in the same boat. First ones last spring were cashed inside two weeks, it’s been about 3 weeks since my last one was sent out so I called to see what was going on and they just said that’s where they are seeing them run right now.

For future reference what number did you call?

And Scott says has them cashed in <2 weeks these days.

That is a lie for sure. The ATF/Bank Of America have been cashing the tax stamp checks within a week after they arrive to the PO Box in Atlanta.
Maybe we are just special. LOL!! I am sure SS is holding applications so they build up and can send those pics of the "1000's" of applications
a day they are processing.

Maybe I should have mailed mine back to you so you could mail it in.. I know I sent it to the right place because I cut out the address on the paper you sent me and taped it to the envelope

Did you use your own check or ours? If yours you will not see the check come out of your account. Instead they turn the check into an ACH withdrawl that
says ATF Nfa ACH

Example: Form mailed 1/27/2018 USPS priority 2 day to Atlanta. Check # 4356 . Processed out of our account on 02/02/18

Atf Nfa ACH Transaction Payment 4356 Pboa0118xxxxxxx360 020118

That has been the normal check cashing time for the last 10 months from what we have seen.

When I say I drug my feet, I drug my feet mailing the apps.

I picked up my paperwork from Scott on the 13th of Jan. I wrote the checks on the 22nd and dropped the package in the mail on the 23rd. They cashed the checks on Feb. 1.

I used a personal check. I'll have to go back and look at December's activity. I don't remember the exact format but I remember specifically seeing ATF

Waiting ... it's what government provides to their serfs in endless quantities

I've never known ATF to be slow in cashing. Doing what you paid for, yes...very very slow, but they're usually pretty fast at cashing the checks.
