Very nice, just a bit 'funkier' than the real deal, like maybe a Belgian twist on a dunkles. Very tasty & NC made, to boot.

Don't think so. Internetwines.com is totally legit & ship FedEx. Just has to be someone at home to sign for it. I've used 'em before for hard to find stuff. Pretty decent prices, too.

Maybe I'll try some...

My kind of glassware.[emoji106] My wife gets pissed when I use a mason jar as a drinking glass.

I've moved from the Bailey's to a toddy with rum for my head cold...lol.

Tonight was a ruff night for the liquor cabinet. Finished off a last of the Blantons and then to the Four Roses. For some reason sitting around the fire pit helps the liquor go down a little bit easier. Last night had some friend over and the Bullet was finished. Went to the package store today to replenish the supply and there was 25 people waiting in line. I will wait until a couple of days before heading back to the Package store. MERRY CHRISTMAS to all my friends.

An assortment of Chinese rice wine and rice liquor I have brought back over the years.
The rice liquor is high Octane, 52-56%ABV.
My wife and daughter said it starts a bit fruity then the heat blast hits.
The rice wine has a malty molasses flavor.

Ardbeg 10... but I'm too lazy to take a photo of the bottle.

After a full month of December having people over I needed to restock the bourbons in the bar. The only new one is the 1792. Never had it. My go to is the Bulleit. IMO the Bib & Tucker is the best then the Angels Envy.

skiles for some reason when friends come over the do not want to drink bourbons and blends with mixers. Also, I had a lot of friends drinking vodka but have not served a vodka drink since the summer. Believe it or not, I might only have a couple drinks a week.

Snap! That Ledaig 18 is incredible. BIG, next level peat, but smooth with a sherry kind of fruitiness & bit of spice. Not an Islay, either. Isle of Mull? I'm a fan of big, peaty Islays & this whiskey stands with the best of them.

So @Qball introduced me to Macallan awhile back. The other night I stopped to get a bottle of the usual glen livet French oak and they were freaking out. Damn y’all for not only making it popular and driving up the price but now it’s out.

So I searched the Macallan selection which is usually more expensive. Even their 10 year old is more than my usual. But I spotted this and it was on sale for $60. It is really good. The sherry caske gives it a smooth, slightly fruity finish.

I really don't like scotch but I'm happy for you. I'm about to finish off a half gallon of Gentleman Jack though. Nice tall pours. 3rd one this evening.

From my past post you can tell I am a bourbon drinker but I am trying my best to learn to drink scotch (single malt). Really do not like a blend or smokey malts. Here is what I have been practicing with. The Glenmorange is made in a Port barrel.

Why practice? Just drink what you enjoy. Kinda like guns and calibers. Find the sweet spot and wear it out.
