Ура!

Anyone here going to bite when they go on sale today at 4:30 p.m.? I'll be the first to say that I will, though I'm going to wait until the triangle folder version is released (PSA says 2-3 months for that). The SBA3 adapter will interchange with the folding brace. Looks like these guns are going to start at $699.99 for the classic model. Mags at $19.99.

I'm looking forward to reading customer reviews.

Wonder if they cooked the welds like that MP5 Clone photo they released

Proprietary mags... Booooooo

They aren't proprietary, they also fit the Scorpion.

It's a great excuse to get both.

Did anyone order one of these? I’ve got the itch for a pcc in 9mm and this is appealing.

Some reports from around the web are showing problems. OOB detonations, and trouble with trigger reset.
First gen PSA is basically beta testing.

It’s a piece of crap (as I expected). The video should make anyone cringe.

MAC shot 500 rounds through it and had “every malfunction imaginable” with oem and CZ mags and basically every major ammo brand.

PSA states:

So, if they functioned without issue during testing, what did they change between testing and shipping? And if they changed something, why wasn’t it tested? Or, was it a non functioning dud and they sent it anyways?

A friend ran into a guy who was a Weapons assembler at PSA who had a bunch of BCGs that failed inspection. Manager told him to put them in the “GO” box. That was the assembler’s last day. All that on top of the AR-9 failures that happen literally every match day at Mid Carolina....and they aren’t “first gen” guns that are all failing. This is now par for the course. And trust me I hate saying this because I want to like PSA and I used to like them...but the facts are there that they do not care about quality.

Good luck to anyone who trusts their PSA MP5 to run

Yeah that stinks to watch. Owner feedback has been a mixed bag so far, so PSA clearly hasn't conquered its QC shortfalls. Some folks on the AK Files and other forums say theirs are running like tops. Others are closer to MAC Tim's above experience, but I don't think I've read/watched any as bad as his.

Collectively, it appears more people are having issues with 115-grain ammo and the factory CZ mags. Others have replaced their springs with Wolff extra power springs and claim that helps or solves the problem. Regardless, this is yet another black eye for the American AK market and yet another reason why I say import>domestic when it comes to these guns. I'm still holding out hope these issues are fixed by the time (if) the triangle folder version is released. If feedback improves by then, I may still be a Guinea pig.

I just REALLY hate the way the Glock mag AK-9s look.

that dude is not happy.

"it's a complete hot mess of malfunctions"

LOL at the 360 degree safety. That ought to tell you all you need to know.

I’m sad this isn’t working out. Hopefully they work out the kinks. Gen 2 should be good.

I ordered a Gen 3 PSAK47. Fingers crossed.

I really wanted these to be good. Primarily because their failure to get these things right does not make people look forward to their MP5.

At least MP5’s are a proven 9mm setup. An Ak in 9mm is a strange animal.

A fast race to the bottom. It is now the American way.

Their AR products are not bad at all. Apparently their current generation 7.62 psaks aren't bad either according Rob at AKOU.
