What are you drinking?

Sippin' on one of these, enjoyin' a taste of the old country.

Haven't decided what I'm gonna get into later. Maybe a mason jar, maybe a big, peated malt.

Eagle Rare... bit of a departure from my normal preference for scotch...but decent.

Killed one of the kegs of home brew tonight. It was a nice easy drinking ale. We have a super hoppy IPA keg still working but at about 9% ABV you have to be careful with that one. The wife is gonna be mad when she gets home because that means she has to brew this weekend.

Excuse me miss. I believe I ordered the large?

I swear that’s like Campbell’s cup o latte.

Picked up a bottle of Breckenridge bourbon from the Alphabet store this afternoon.... feel like I am betraying my beloved scotch.
Super smooth and easy sweet finish.

Yay! I love the woman! Have been trying To find these! Cheers!

Discovered these tonight. Finished in beer caskes. Only a $5 premium over regular Jameson.

Trying the IPA right now and I have to say it’s a big flavor difference. I dig it.

It has been a while since I had any bourbon and they have been advertising this on TV a bunch so I figured I need to try it out. Going to take a couple drinks to figure it out.

Technically I was drinking Modelo but her drink was tasty and made for a better pic... Some kind of hibiscus margarita...

Ever been to a baby shower for a dude getting ready for his first kid at 42?

Oh yeah, it was at a brewery, and most of the gifts were bourbon and rye. Thankfully we know the owner and we had started sampling a bit of each while ordering different beers to go with different pours from the bottles.

Blantons - always a big fan!
Pritchard- not bad, interesting, kinda tastes like hay or straw.
WhistlePig 10 year - still good, but better in an old fashioned IMO.
EH Taylor's single barrel- damn! Need more of this goodness.

There was more, but I can remember at the moment and I didn't take any pics. I'm sure someone did and they get passed around at some point.

Hahahaha!

They married, and the wife had 2 from a previous marriage. He never had any, and not long after they got together he knocked her up.

I've been waiting for this day for close to 15 years. He was the guy that always bought stupid stuff, would bounce to NM just to go hunt elk for week or two, pick a few dozen matches around the country to go shoot. Now, those things are great and all, and I'm sure we all would love to be able to do that, I know I did every time he'd tell me to meet him at any of the "activities". Regardless of location or normal things like work or family that had to be taken care of. She's due in the next 3-4 weeks and he still swears that life wont be any different. lmao!

So, actually more of a wake to his old life...makes sense now!
