What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

Just that I can think of since my last post: a VP9 FDE, Kimber Micro9 Raptor, Glock 48, CZ Scorpion Evo Pistol, and Steyr S9A1. I'm sure there's more, but that's just the last 6 months.

LEO trade in S&W 4043 and a Tangfolio Witness in .40. Hopefully going to have the time to shoot them this weekend. The Witness is a National Guard model/edition but I can't seem to find much info on it. The price was right and it seems to be built like a tank so hopefully it was a good buy. Any additonal info would be appreciated.

Each time I order from Midway, I throw a recoil and/or magazine spring on the order. Wouldn’t hurt to replace both on an older gun.

I do something like that, too, if I have to reach a minimum amount for free shipping.

I have several Witness pistols. That one looks like a steel-frame. I've only ever seen one Tanfo like that with a ported barrel, at a gun store in North Raleigh a few years ago.

Witness pistols changed mag sizes in 2005, from "small frame" to "large frame". They still make some "PS" model polymers that take the small frame mags, but all the metal frame ones now are the large size.

Small frame (Pre 2005) approximately 0.796" thick and approximately 1.25" long.

Large frame (Post 2005) measure approximately 0.843" thick and approximately 1.369" long.

For the 40, the full-size small-frame mag will hold 12 rounds. The large frame is 15 rounds I believe.

Thanks. It is a steel frame pistol from the late 1990s (best I can tell) and came with a 12 round mag. I had been courious which type of mag to buy so that helps. I had a Witness years ago that I enjoyed but traded it off. I doubt this one is anything special but would like to know if it was actually made for a National Guard Pistol team or if it is some sort of commerative edition. Granted I haven't shot it but like what I see thus far. Trigger is great as are the sights. It is a pawnshop find that I have less than $300 in so I think I did ok based on online prices.

Stopped at Mid South and got two boxes of .45 to take to Battery Oaks this weekend! What could be better than shooting a .45?
(Well, maybe figuring out what's wrong with my 9mm! Maybe not!)

Got me another Shooting Sight Trigger for my factory ARX100 SBR that is in NFA jail until 08/19: *Edit* (I hope)

I thought you were gonna tell us that you got an STI and Ric Flair's robe.

10lb Wolff recoil spring for a Fusion 9mm 1911. It ejects fine now but barely spits out the spent brass. It drops it beside my right foot.

It came with a 12lb spring. I have an extra 11, and will have the 10 to play around to see what runs best.

Alternately, 124 grain NATO cycles the gun great.

I think this might be similar, but surely newer. How does one determine age?

Ordered a mr. bullet feeder, it’s supposed to be hella quiet compared to the Hornady, we’ll see. Mostly it’ll handle .223 and coated lead pistol bullets.
