I'm sticking with three because of so many uncertainties, but request the option to increase my number after seeing firmed-up final configuration/price data.

4 eventually but I think the initial limit is 1 until the wrinkles are ironed out with the process.

Is this really going to happen?

I already have more ARs than I need, but I'd buy one of these lowers to support CFF.... But it looks like this thread has been going for 6 months... Is it ever going to come to fruition?

Almost ready for primetime...

Going to go to the supporting members first since it's going to be very limited run, then for general consumption.

Awesome. Sounds like you already have enough interest from supporting members, and the rest of the plebes need not apply.

Maybe the title should have said, "Take 2: CFF Lowers for Supporting Members (and maybe a few extras for the people we really like...)"

So why ask everyone to say how many they would buy, and then say that it's a limited run for supporting members?

I’m in the same boat. Been passing on some lower deals I have seen because I signed on for these.

After leaving a snarky comment, i looked again and it seems like I'm the only loser on this thread who isn't already giving money to CFF... What's the link to give you money so that i can also be a supporting member?

Done... I gave CFF free money. Consider the site supported... I don't want to buy a lower anymore.

Edit: I thought this comment would sound funny, not pissy. Sorry about that. I am happy to be a supporting member. I should have done this a long time ago. This is a great community and I'm glad to be a part of it.

Don’t get all bent out of shape bud. The crew is doing their best to get a limited run of something done as a favor and special offering. I imagine they offered it to all members because of economy of scale to see what the total appetite for an offering would be, then they have to see what they can do. Probably turned out that “enough for everyone plus extras” would be cost prohibitive, but a smaller run was more realistic.

It’s also possible that there is one small shop trying to fill the demand and they are tapped out.

Either way, no reason to feel tread upon or slighted. Homie is volunteering a lot of time trying to do the forum a solid.

Oh no. I'm not disgruntled at all.

I spend about 8 hours a day on this website.

I knew i should have been supporting in some way all along.

When i saw this thread, i thought, "I'll buy a lower that i don't really want but CFF deserves to make a $5 profit off of me."

Now I've donated free money instead. I no longer need to buy something that i don't need.

Becoming a supporting member was better for everybody. I was just trying to sound funny, not pissed off.

Owners, staff, supporting members, everyone will be limited to one.

Have you been peeking?

8 hours a day???? WOW!!!!!
Sometimes I can't find 8 minutes to sit down and browse.
I work from home. No one knows that my phone is by my work laptop. I get email reminders constantly and anytime I'm not actively doing a work task I'm checking cff on my phone.
