May is National Stop the Bleed Month. We will be offering a couple Stop the Bleed courses, both First Care Responder and American College of Surgeons courses. We will do some after work during the week and on the weekend. If you are interested in STB classes, send us a message.

2 spots left in long distance, 2 spots left in Tactical Rifle, 1 spot left in Mother's Day Handgun, 4 spots in Defensive handgun, and 5 spots left in Wilderness Medicine left!

What do you charge for classes? Tactical rifle and long distance class prices?

Hey guys! We had a couple back out of class this weekend (2-Day Intro to Long Distance)! We are trying to fill these two spots! We are going to give a discount if you sign up on such short notice AND will provide FREE rental if you do not have your own gun. Lets get these spots filled, it will be an awesome class.

I'll see if i can find someone to go. My oldest Son is attending already. I can say that this class is VERY detailed. There is a huge amount of information, if you ever wanted to learn the intricacies of long range shooting this is the class for you. I think you could easily attend this same class multiple times if your hard headed like me. It also quickly shows you that, to do it right, you need good equipment. (luckily you can rent it! )

I found my scope, while great for what it was, offered no moa or mrad lines for. I had a big cross hair. Of course i bought it 20+ years ago and was a noob... After this class you will no longer be a noob. You will move to neophyte long range shooter. If you havnt already bought equipment take this class first. It will save you MONEY. Once you have done the class and decide you want ot get good the hard work begins building dope chart. You'll need to do a lot of work to be a good sniper/scout. You will learn so much you will need to take notes. It is an awesome experience for those like me who think they can shoot, then they learn how much OTHER stuff you have to know before even taking the shot.

I also learned that some people think they can buy skill. The gun, the optics, the kestrel, the laser range finder are all tools but everything can break... You can still spend several thousands dollars on a set up and still need 6-10 shots to get on target. You want accurate cold bore first shot hits. That is the measure of a skilled long range marksman. Its a daunting task, but if it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing would it?

Excellent review! Thanks @Variable

Well done to all the students for Saturdays Tactical Rifle 1 class. We had a mix of alums and new guys. The greatest thing about this class (in my opinion) is that everyone showed up knowing it was going to rain. Your average shooters cancel, but these guys didn't. They came early (except for our Marine!) and stuck it out the entire class. It was good to see guys trying to beat everyone else's times, joking, and generally enjoying the competition. I like shooting, training, and seeing what i can do of course, but i mostly enjoy the camaraderie that goes along with the training. Most of us are very like minded, heck we are out shooting guns and running drills in the rain on a Saturday. We are a small minority of dudes i guess :) Anyway, glad to see everyone out this weekend. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as i did, even though i was hurting a bit the last hour or so and that took some of the fun out. I don't know what is planned for next weekend, but you can bet ill be there if i can.

I was going to say the same thing! We had a ton of the ladies cancel for the mothers day class due to the weather. Generally 101 shooters do too, but not this class. Completely full, ready to rock and roll. I think all of our new shooters realized their cheap Chinese scopes and gun parts weren't what they needed. Slings failed, optics failed, rifles failed. My alum who have done this a time or two had 0 issues with any equipment. So I was glad to see so many takeaways there. It was also nice to see so many of my alum helping the new shooters, giving advice, and including them into the family to help calm nerves, joke around, and form friendships. It was an especially great class.

Be sure and sign up your friends for “stop the bleeding”. Church groups, coworkers etc.

Even if they aren’t gun people, they can still be in car accidents or some other accident & need to know how to staunch the bleeding.

It never ceases to amaze me how many folks want to blow right past medical training.:(

True! This will be a great Stop the Bleed class. It is a national accreditation. We will also be unveiling the new SOFT-W new gen and the new CoTCCC approved Sam Xt and TMT tourniquets.

I spoke with my wife this morning and i want both of them at the Stop the Bleed class Saturday evening. I am trying to get Heather, Anthony and D2 and Dalton as well. Getting HS accreditation is worth it. Ill know about the clan soon

still got a spot in defensive handgun? I need to be home (Moms birthday) and showered by 4 but it looks like its 9-3 so I should be ok

1 spot left in Defensive Handgun 1, 5 left in Stop the Bleed, 5 left in Wilderness Medicine, and 3 left in Self-Defense! Get signed up before the weekend!

sure, I'd be happy to let Ryan see mine.

You have a P365 right? I'm trying to get everyone to bring a P365. Ryan is a huge fan of them and he would love seeing a class full of them banging away at targets!
If anyone is attending and don't have a P365 there is still time to buy one! :)
