No, BoB I stand by it. Claiming that people who answered a poll are obligated to purchase something that no specific details were given on is exactly that.

Sir.... I have you know I am neither "Moronic or Misguided"............. I have no idea who committed to anything, nor do I give a rats ass. The statement reads "For Those that did Commit"........ also can mean, "IF you committed" You know who you are "If" you committed, I do not....... I did not say BOOger you are committed.

Please, by all means, do whatever feels right to you............. I made a comment about many things in general from my perspective on what I saw. If there was no commitment to anything, what on earth are you offended by?
 
I originally said I would be good for 4 lowers.
I am being allowed to get my original 4 as requested.
My 4 G-kids will have nice ARs built for them as my funds allow.

Go price out bullet lowers and see what they are going for, the ones I looked up are more than these.

Then you have an absolute misunderstanding of the entire situation. No one, at any time, committed to anything. And you failed to even note that. So it did make your statement moronic and misguided.

I looked, maybe I missed it somewhere, but I can't see anywhere in my posts the word "Poll" or "answered a Poll" or anything else? I made no such "Claims" I am aware of. My statement is just what it says, nothing more.....

Obviously misunderstood then. Offended my moron. Too bad...... Also, sounds like you are making a good excuse for yourself... Many people do that................. Still IF IF IF IF... Anyone made such committment, they should stand by it.... and I stand by my statement, regardless of this Lower or anything else.............I don't know who or if anyone committed to anything, it was a general statement of affairs........... like it or not, your issue not mine

You and I will apparently not agree on much. But I will say this. If anyone actually >committed< at any point to anything then they absolutely >should< live up to their obligation.

The disconnect is that some here apparently think answering in the affirmative in any way in the original postings about this offering is an absolute commitment. Others see it as it was, a solicitation of interest based on a cost that changed.

I’m sure you are a fine man and I was not intending to call you personally a moron, but I disagreed with the sentiment that answering an interest poll for one thing made you absolutely responsible for the next.

So here’s the deal.

A question was brought up about the manufacturer and if we knew his background. I pm’ed a few members that BHE has worked with. This has now morphed i to a shit slinging thread.

I seriously don't give a shit what the previous price was stated as being. We are far from where we started. I take full responsibility for giving an uneducated or researched quote.

I simply dont have time to sit here and babysit this thread.

You’re either in or ya aint on the lower buy

Here are my TERMS, and they are non-negotiable.

#1....... I want Serial # 1 or if that is not available, Serial #100.....................

#2...... I do not wish to take possession of said Lower, nor have it delivered to me.

#3...... The Lower is to be kept by Carolina Firearms Forum and later Auctioned off by the Forum and FOR The Forum.

#4...... The Proceeds from said Auction will be kept by CFF and placed in a coffee can to be used to help with a gathering or help buy hotdogs or whatever the Forum decides to do
is fine with me.

If we can do that, check in the mail ASAP...............I COMMIT.......................

At the risk of having my post deleted, I had a very brief private conversation with @Michael458. Where he appears to be replying to himself in this thread, he is responding to me.

I sent him a PM because he clearly misunderstood the history, specifically that there were explicitly no commitments made in the discussion thread, and I thought it productive to advise him about that privately and ask him to consider revising his challenge to everyone’s honor since it was posted in ignorance and was going to turn the thread into a chit-chow. He choose to double down, so here we are.

I’m still thinking about my interest in one or more. @Butter is there a date by which you’d like to have commitments and funds?

$175 each for billet lowers is a good price, those shocked should go price them.
Add in that these are custom made for CFF and that makes them a great deal.
I'm in for 4 for my G-kids builds and hope this goes thru.
