Now that makes my 1,000 round purchases seem pretty puny!I bought 3300rds of 22LR. Probably gonna shoot a third of that up this upcoming week and weekend.

The difference between 3 (or even sub 3) cent .22 and 15 to 25 or 30 cent ammo is why most of us own at least one .22.Now I really want to get my .22 conversion kit for the Glock extra soon! lol.

Yummy!!
I feel your pain, I just spent $300 on brakes and an oil change. There went my .22 kit for the Glock.....Nothing my car issues have put the big hurt on the gun funds.

Also planning to get the .22 conversion for the RIA 9mm 1911. (Or is that just asking for more 1911 troubles?)
I'll bring my GSG 1911 Friday and Sunday.Stop that!! lol.
Conversion kits all the way.....according to Chris, they make them for my RIA, too.
You're a nice man! I do like that gun...a lot! lol.I'll bring my GSG 1911 Friday and Sunday.

- I wonder whether these conversion kits cost significantly less than an dedicated .22 pistol of good quality (today, around $250 to under $300; much less if used).
That makes sense to me.You are correct. A Ruger SR22, S&W M&P 22 and some other 22's are around the same price as a good conversion kit. The advantage to a conversion is that you can put it on one of your guns and leave it on, then shoot hundreds/thousands of rounds through it to learn the trigger of the gun. You can get familiar with the trigger without the expense and recoil. Then you can go back to the original upper with the same trigger.
A Yeet Cannon is a gun for Yutes.I guess I'm too old to know what a yeet is.
It's a matter of sliding the .22 slide onto the g19, according to Billy....even I can manage that, I think. I'd have a little case for it, no loose parts.@Millie
I have absolutely no experience with conversion kits so I’m surely not entitled to an opinion. But here’s why I don’t have any experience:
Anybody with experience able to set me straight?
- I don’t want to have to carry loose parts to the range.
- I don’t want to stop shooting and overhaul my gun when I decide to shoot a different caliber.
- I wonder whether these conversion kits cost significantly less than an dedicated .22 pistol of good quality (today, around $250 to under $300; much less if used).
Way better said than my reply! lol. And exactly why I want to get these for my guns. You are correct. A Ruger SR22, S&W M&P 22 and some other 22's are around the same price as a good conversion kit. Me too CD, I just did a G21 and a G17 for dedicated .22s in Glockenspiel.. I've however go tired of swapping them out and just built a dedicated .22
How cool. I’d love to see some video you’ve shot from that viewpoint.Box of Winchester .22WMR at walmart $24 for 150 rds.
USA made aluminum picatany rail camera mount for my GoPro. Amazon shipped a dvd movie instead of the mount.

I bought a cheapo GP at WM and videoed myself shooting. I discovered some issues to work on. Probably need to find that sucka and do it again.Feller in my classes last semester took some vids of himself on a quail hunt.
It was really neat to watch the barrel come up, line up, recoil, and a folded up bird fall out of the sky lol
Maybe that's what I need to do. So I can see what I'm doing that may be causing me "issues".....I bought a cheapo GP at WM and videoed myself shooting. I discovered some issues to work on. Probably need to find that sucka and do it again.
