Okay Ryan you win, sign me up for Tactical med 101 & CQB the following day.

I wish I could get my woman to come along, but she is sooo set on her Sunday church... I tell her “what god really wants is for us to not be axe murdered” but it’s no reaching her yet. :D:eek:

Sign me up for these please. Hoping Tac Med 101 is in your new AC classroom?

Sat 7/13- Defensive Handgun 2
Sat 7/27- Tactical Medicine 101/Civilian Active Shooter Medical Response

Hey guys! We are moving the Tactical Medicine 201 class due to it working out better for everyone who wants to take it. What class would you guys like to see in exchange? The class will run 11:30-5:30 on Sunday July 21st.

Hey Ryan me and the wife are dropping by for the July 6th fun day. Also sign me up for Defensive Handgun 2 on 7/13 and tact med on 7/27.

Thanks,
Brent

It's looking better, but not out of the woods yet. Until its all healed up i am taking it pretty serious. The antibiotics are wrecking me. I may go back to the doc tomorrow for a checkup. All this from smacking my shin against something. I still don't even recall how i did it exactly. Clean and treat all wounds people. After the doc looked at it he asked me if i had ever had MRSA and i was like "Well !#$%." That stuff is nasty.

Oh man. Sorry to hear you got busted up!
Hope you heal up soon!

Hey guys! We have 2 spots left in Defensive Handgun 2 THIS Saturday, and a couple left in Defensive Rifle 1 THIS Sunday we are looking to fill. We only have 1 spot left for every other class this month just in case people are waiting to sign up!

any idea if our group 9mm ammo buy will be in by this weekend?

Most likely smacked your shin cause you were trying to cheat going around a corner, just like you do on a low ready drill;)

Cheatin' huh?! My rifle was pointing at the bottom of the target stand, unlike you... holding it at the bottom of the paper target! You had to raise the rifle up like two inches...Cheatin... Call me cheatin, pot calling the kettle black if you ask me.

btw I thought it was nice the two old guys beat all the young guys... Makes me happy inside. (obligatory "no homo")

We did that low ready drill at the meet and greet, Ryan and 2 other guys we have trained with confirmed i was in your stance lol. From this day forward it will be call the Derek low ready stance:p

It's a conspiracy i tell ya. Everyone knows first hand accounts are miss remembered. Next rifle class we shall see... Be ready to be dazzled by my speed.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, or so I been told

As the instructor, let me go ahead and put this to rest. Derek FOR SURE leaves his muzzle at the bottom of the target only moving the muzzle 2 inches so he can attempt a lighting fast ready up like me. If he gets his muzzle on target he can get within .1 seconds of me, therefore I rule with Coho857 on this one and hereby proclaim that is the Derek (@Variable ) low ready stance, to be accompanied by the Derek method of shooting..... Speed.

If there’s an open spot, sign me up for Tac Med and send me details of when and where. I’ve had Combat Lifesaver a couple times in the Army, but need to rehash some things as it’s been a while.

Steve is right, i want to be just like Derek (Variable), high speed and low drag. I hope to one day be as awesome as him

Understandable. I think i was under .40 for a ready up. I don't pay enough attention to times to actually remember them, but I do recall a small tornado like vortex coming off the barrel at one point do to the speed of my ready up. It was nice because the breeze cooled me down.

pfft, Lies all lies!!! If you keep this up I am going to actually practice and then you will all see true speed. I'm basically a "newbie" when it comes to rifles. Imagine how fast ill be after i move up to "Moderately skilled"
