The lady is a hardcore Obama fan (literally had pictures of him on her wall), but golly can she get the VA to eat from the palm of her hand.

She did me right and got me what I deserved. Just don't mention anything political, give her $ and she will square you away. I dealt with her in 2017. Her rate then was a one time fee of $400.

Can you tell us a little about what she did for you that you couldn’t do yourself or the DAV couldn’t do for you for free.

This isn’t an attack this is curiosity and a desire to know. There are a lot of times a paid consultant can work miracles with government agencies and then there are times that you can save your money and accomplish the same thing with a little effort.

My little effort lasted 7 years. I only mustered 60%. She got me up to 100% total and permanent. All totaled with percentages I'm 220%. She was totally worth a mere $400. Don't like to put my business out there but if my reference of her can help just one person, then it's worth it. I get no kickbacks whatsoever. She knows her stuff and I like to help those that need it. Especially a fellow veteran.

Edit: it took her less than 4 months

Anyone know anything about this group. A buddy in the ER (Army Combat Medic now RN) was referred to them. Promised him I'd ask on here. Thanks

So thread regeneration question.

Was all of your stuff already documented and she just helped with filing it correctly? Or did she set up appointments with drs that could document your claims and then submit?

I need the latter.

I will tag this one my wife is in the process.

Veterans Guardian will do all that. I know they've squared away both @JBoyette & myself.

2 yrs ago dad was 83. 30% disabilities that was never applied.

I sat him down with disabled American veterans.

It's free.

At age 84 he is became rated 100% disabled.

At 85 he is getting all he's due and now wonders why he waited so long and why no one knows about dav.

It's what they do. And you don't hand over any money

VFW & DAV ran me around in circles & didn't do shit.

VG charges 1/2 of any increase they get you for 10 months. Say you get $200/mo currently & they get you upped a $1000/mo to $1200. At $500 x 10 months, that's $5K. They'll work with you on a payment plan & offer a cash discount. Considering the value of your increase over time, it's a bargain. They did for me in 6 months what the DAV & VFW couldn't figure out in 10 years.

@indie_rocker $10K is steep, but also tells me you got a very substantial increase. Congrats on that, as well. I know what a huge relief it was when my rating was finally changed to where it shoulda been all along.

Chaps my ass something fierce that you have to pay the man to get the VA to do the right thing, but that's apparently the rules of the game nowadays. 🤬

You ain't kidding. I was previously at 80% and payed at 100 for individual unemployability. They decided I made $500 too much in 2020. No warnings given about not doing it again. Notice was sent in January that effective March, I would be payed at 80%.

Vet Guard got me back to 100%, P&T. It's damn expensive, but they got the job done.

She did both. I needed help with some filing and she also set up the appointments.
