1C321127-8179-4571-912D-EC7BA5823C85.jpeg I enjoy occasionally chewing Levi Garrett & Cope
But I’ve been looking around for something to chew or dip inside that I will not have to spit with.
I tried this stuff called ‘cowboy coffee chew’ which is essentially coffee grinds bound together with honey and a slight Sweet cream flavor. Essentially you are chewing on flavored coffee grounds. It’s good I like it. Once the honey dissolves it’s a bit gritty.

Is there another product out there anyone has used that is not tobacco-based?

And if that doesn't work,

You're saying that you want to keep the nastiest ass habit of all time but don't want the danger.

Some of the quit smoking programs have a mint leaf chew of some sort.
I thought about trying one of those. I had seen one on amazon. That’s where I found the coffee based one.

I’ve tried this one a couple times. Trying to get off Grizzly, myself. I don’t really like pouches, and this stuff seems to dissolve quickly. You can swallow it, too.

Don’t really mind the pouches too much. Keeps flake out of my teeth lol.

I've been chewing Copenhagen off and on since I was in High School.
Tried to quit many times, probably half heartedly many.... it's one my vices, I accept it and can offer the following suggestions.
  • Don't be gross when you dip, don't spit everywhere
  • Brush your teeth after you dip
  • Go get your teeth cleaned every 6 months
  • Move it around and don't keep it in the same place all the time.
I tried to switch to true Swedish snus, however found it to be cost prohibitive. I've been using the tobacco free nicotine pouches (Zyn and On!) for probably 6-8 months now and was using snus (Skoal or Camel) for many years before that.
My actual Copenhagen usage is basically down to 1 or 2 dips and day, mainly on the ride to and from work or if I am doing something outside in the yard.

I actually like the Zyn and On! and find myself using it more than Copenhagen

I realize that I am biased in the discussion but I would argue that smoking is far more disgusting than someone who dips and is not a total slob about it.

Baccoff got me off of smokeless tobacco. I'm 56 and started dipping when I was 13. About three years, maybe four years ago, I quit the Wintergreen Skoal finecut, and started using the Baccoff Wintergreen non-nicotine dip.

I can't remember when I quit the Baccoff. It got me off of dipping for good. I think it's been at least a year, maybe two, since I last dipped Baccoff. It allowed me to quit because of no nicotine. It's all about the nicotine. Once you stop the nicotine, going through the natural motions of dipping and the corresponding urges, will eventually subside and ultimately go away.

Dentists and oral surgeons should pitch this kind of stuff to kids and their parents. Unfortunately, it's cheap and they can't make any money from it.

You can brush your teeth...... can't brush your lungs. Lol

I used the Smokey Mountain herbal snuff (they have pouches also). I've been tobacco free three years since Feb. I think I was more addicted to the oral habit than the nicotine. It took 3 1/2 years using this stuff but I made it. This is the first month that I don't actually have a can in my left front pocket (now I keep a spare mag there). Good luck with it. This has been one of my best accomplishments.

You have to be very careful typing that!

I believe that's what these ladies were hawking at the 2013 US Open Sporting Clays Championship at Back Woods Quail in Georgetown, SC. View attachment 152748

My search for snus turned up this. https://smokeysnuffstore.com/?utm_s...9xsibb1Hvqo2PxMtU3MXBCetBe7TBU-RoCbm4QAvD_BwE

This is true Swedish Snus.

What is in the picture is EXTREMELY cost prohibitive.... unless you can figure out how a way to write it off....your my CPA after all.

I do a little Redman when work is pissing me off. When it becomes a habit and not just an every now and then thing I switch to sunflower seeds.

Oh, I wrote them off all right. Look at the attitude of the one on my far right!

I am holding the couzy and the snus sample in my right hand, and a floozy in my left hand!

The smokysnuffstore link above was in addition to all the snus stuff I found, as an alternative. I remember asking about the snus prices then, and was not impressed enough to buy any. I try to frequent all the vendor tents at shoots like this, and I'll take any free stuff they give away.
