Hmmm ...
Investigators say Brown is an employee of Dyke Industries and "spontaneously" stabbed a total of five employees with a folding knife after getting into a verbal dispute at the office shortly after clocking into work at 8 a.m. Police say Brown was asked to leave and clocked out at 8:20 p.m. At 8:33 p.m., police were called to the scene and arrived to the area within four minutes.
He was involved in a dispute at the office before the stabbing, which police said occurred with a pocket-knife style weapon.
Nobody was killed so it won’t get as much traction but sure sounds like work place violence with mental(anger) issues but if he had used a firearm ... it would be manic this crazed gunman that.

Wonder if it was an assisted opener? If so could we hear assault knives?

Run Hide or disarm the man with the Case Trapper and beat the ever living crap out of him with a soda can in a sock. I prefer frozen water bottles in gun free zones with metal detectors.

Well, before we get all snarky about this, the specific counter the left uses is "Yes, he stabbed X number of people, but he didn't kill them...if it had been a gun it would have been X dead people..." so this isn't really a hill worth attacking and dying on.

Isn’t a “pocket-knife styled weapon” also simply called a pocket-knife?

To be fair, it probably would have been worse if he had a gun. That's one reason I prefer a gun over a knife.

Yeah, that's my point. When mass stabbings or people with bats, or whatever people are quick to say "SEE IT WASNT A GUN!"...which the logical counter is "And if it had been, this would have been terrible." So its better to just take the tack that people be crazy and leave it at that.

When they let you go at my p/t they tell you not to come back for 48 hours.

I can't believe they haven't labeled it a tactical knife yet.
Tactical Kitchen Knife.

It seems to me that knife attacks also are becoming more common in the US. Makes it more clear that it's a people problem, but that won't be addressed. London, here we come.
