Cigar of the day

Any cigar smokers going to be at Billy's in a couple of weeks? I am going to bring a few up.

I'm trying, work schedule is supposed to be changing so I have weekends off. New guy isn't looking so good so it might not happen.

HC HABANO COLORADO
Mix of Nicarauguan, Costa Rican, and Honduran, this box-pressed beauty is medium-full in strength.
Plenty of peppery flavor with some hints of leather. I like it.

After a tough evening, wanted to wind down with a nice cigar. Smoking a RELIC cigar... another A.J. Fernandez smoke. Wow! A Habano wrapper around lots of long-leaf Nicarauguan ligero. Mighty nice! Lots of complex flavors, different with each puff. Some coffee, then spice, leather, earthiness, and pepper. I'd say it is full strength, but not harsh.

La Traviata by CAO. Powerful and smooth. Smacks of cedar with notes of caramel and dark chocolate on the retrohale. Glad I bought a box of 30!

Enjoying an old favorite this morning paired with a strong cup of Columbian coffee.
Montecristo White Series is a nice blend of Dominican and Nicarauguan long filler with an Ecuadorian shade-grown wrapper. Very mild cigar... much milder than I normally like, but it has nice flavor and starts the day off nice and easy.

AVO Ckassic with some Reed's Ginger Beer. Might be the last night I can enjoy a cigar outside for awhile. The nights are getting chilly.

Busted out a nice one for the occasion. AVO is a brand I always seem to forget about but never fails to impress.

I have two of these left from 2015. The Fuente God of Fire 2014. It has aged really nice, I remember them being really strong and have since mellowed out.

Enjoying by the fire with a bottle of Reeds Ginger Beer.

On this warmer evening, decided to light up a gift from a good friend. This beauty is a box-pessed maduro Aging Room in a Churchill length. Don't smoke many maduros, but this one is very rich and tasty with hints of coffee and chocolate. I would recommend this stick.

Thanks for reminding me to check the Humidor. We have not been terribly diligent about watching the humidity level. Almost lost some really nice cigars.

What do you do when it is 80 degrees and blue skies? You try a Cain and some water.

Damn cigar lighter would not work at the range. Guess it was too cold. Had to wait until i got home to have my after shooting cigar. La Moneda20200120_142218.jpg

In Vegas for Shot Show. Sitting at Casa Fuente enjoying their house cigar. An OpusX with Cameron wrapper.

I bought a box of these a few years ago. They've aged wonderfully. Ramon Allones Specially Selected.
