What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

My middle offspring purchased his first store bought rifle, a nearly new Rem 700 in .30-06 for a nice price just in time for our Pee Dee hunt tomorrow. All by his big self to boot, no Dad help other than I sent him the ad.

He "claimed" he couldnt get the 35 Rem to group this morning but he was ringing steel at 80yd with it [emoji849][emoji1787][emoji16]

I actually had a good week as far as firearms, I picked up a Heritage Rough Rider 22 LR. Revolver with a extra cylinder chambered in 22WMR...

The Rough Rider was the best buck twenty I've spent. Bought one for Mrs. back when you get it for $99.99 at Cabelas or $119.99 at Academy, no transfer since the closest Cabelas in NC is hours away. She loved that gun. I usually put the .22wmr cylinder in it when I take it out, she favored the .22LR. Before she got sick, she could shoot it forever. Smiling the whole time.

We recently lost Mrs., and I'll never part with it. I'm probably going to take it with me to the range this week since I'll be sighting in a Ruger SR22 anyway. Another one of hers.

ENJOY!

I’m so sorry to hear of your loss, I can’t even imagine. My dad has been having cardiac related issues for the last year, so I have been spending as much time with him as I can. I try to go shooting with him often, he seems to prefer sending as much as lead possible down range over accuracy though.

Thank you for the like and the memory you shared, she must have been a special person and I am sorry for your loss, I am 65 and have 6 kids the youngest is 18 and autistic, I spend as much time as I can with my boys and girls, plinking with the 22 revolver and rifle in our back yard( we live in a rural farm area) and shooting steel with the AR 15 rifle and 9mm pistol...they all love shooting as do I..many good memories for them when I am gone....we shoot and laugh and joke around...yes...good memories and shooting has been a big part of it along with fishing and hunting, crabbing, hell anything outdoors was great but being disabled cant do a lot of what we used to, but shooting will always be a part of our family good times

When guns become outlawed,I will become an outlaw!
The fact that the government would even consider repealing the second amendment is the very reason for which it was written.

Nice.

Consider cutting some relief around the grip so you can easily stick your fingers (or at least your thumb) in and pick it up.

Oh, and I just received a BA mid length barrel in .223 WYLDE, an aero precision enhanced upper, and an AP mid length gas tube today.

I'l be needing a handguard, flash hider, scope, bcg, ch, and stock to complete my build.

Well I got back on the horse recently after allowing the fun fund recover.

One of the last alloy Browning High Powers from RGuns I have not had a chance to shoot my own pics. This one is from the auction

Beretta 81 from Dan's Ammo. Should ship tomorrow.

A bright, "day-glo" red fiber optic front sight for the Glock 19, hoping I can see it better than the paint I have on there now. lol. Every little bit helps.

(I know you guys told me to immediately switch out the sights and trigger way back when I got the gun. No need to remind me, but go ahead anyway! lol.)

(PS sights came Tuesday, nobody at the range to put them on for me....the red looks really bright!)

Since Midway had a sale on them, and for now have free shipping, and also because Speer has a rebate going on, I ordered some more 50AE bullets. With the discount, and free shipping, and rebate, that brings the cost per bullet down to $0.21 each. Even counting the brass ($0.20 each for once fired) that brings the cost per round down to about $0.55 each. Factory ammo = $1.50. Wooo Hooo. I think my wrist may be the limiting factor on how much I shoot this caliber. :D

Update on these guys. They are drop shipping from somewhere. They accepted the order but then cancelled it. Did not even send me an email. They simply reversed the charge. Saw it on my CC online and called them. They said they cancelled it because it was no longer in stock. Will not order from them again. Looks like they are pulling from the same warehouse as Classic Firearms, whose online inventory seems a bit more accurate. Both are still out of stock.

@Oneofsix

A new rack system for steel targets ( 6" circle and IDPA A zone ;) ).
Some Underwood Extreme Defender +P+ to test in my 9s.
[NOTE: for those interested, ordering from Underwood is cheaper than Lucky Gunner on both price & shipping!]
And some 1911 mags from Brownells -- two Metalform, and three Brownells w/bumper.

@Oneofsix

Shows "low stock" now, but I won't try to order. Sounds fishy.

Since I done paid off the CC, I placed another order with AR15discounts.com

Nothing fancy. Just a handguard and CH.

Oh. And I bought a snazzy bcg from a member in BST.

Darn you. Between this and your “I know I mentioned...” thread, I went to that site. A Radian Raptor charging handle and safety that I didn’t know I needed for my MP15-22 is now inbound. :mad:
