I saw an EDC thread earlier and can’t seem to find it, so how about we start a new one? Let’s see what you guys are carrying on a daily basis.

My fall/winter carry usually is one of my Glock 19s.

Glock 19 Gen 4
Trijicon RM06
DP Custom Works EDC slide cuts
Agency Arms trigger
ZT 0350 S30V
Streamlight ProTac HL
Bravo Concealment IWB

I've had a G19 on my hip for years but this winter I'm back to basics: Colt 1911 Officer riding in Two Fools leather.
Oh yeah? Which model holster? I'm looking to TFL for a holster for my SA RO/EO 1911 9mm.

... Let’s see what you guys are carrying on a daily basis. ...
G19 Gen 5, unmodified
Dara Minimalist AIWB or AlienGear Cloak Tuck 3.5 IWB

Historically (roughly 50 years): first was a Colt Combat Commander; later a Ruger Sp101 .357 2.25" bbl and a Colt Mustang Pocketlite; later yet a Glock 30sf; and currently the G19.

My primary carry is a Glock 43X. Occasionally I will carry a Glock 19, Glock 45, Glock 43 or a M&P 2.0C.

Shield 9mm in a Remora IWB holster with an extra magazine in my weak side pocket. Last night we went to dinner and since I had a tucked in dress shirt I carried my Ruger LCP Gen 1 in my pocket with an extra magazine also in my weak side pocket. That's the only two I carry.

  • In the summer months I carry a Sphinx SDP 9mm subcompact in a Milt Sparks VMII.
  • The other 3 seasons I carry a Alloy BHP 9mm in a Milt Sparks VMII or a Wilson Combat EDCX9 in a Warbird Leather IWB holster.
  • Kershaw Blur Tanto
  • Streamlight 88061 ProTac 1L-1AA

Shield 9mm with Truglo TFOs and TLR6
loaded with hyve +1 magazine (8 rounds)
Spare hyve +2 magazine (10 rounds)
Holster and mag carrier made by yours truly.
CRKT CEO folder

Summer/winter same gun.

Have a second Shield setup identically that rides in a safe in my vehicle. There is a holster for it velcro'd into a gethome bag in the trunk.

Where do you carry your P07? What holster do you use? Im still carrying my shield and want to carry my P07 but the holster I have for it doesn't conceal well.

I carry it at 3-3:30 in a crossbreed style holster, it conceals very well, or at least I have gotten to the point I just don't care as much about printing as I once did.

Grock42 (gasp)
Benchmade (gaspier)
Streamlight Micro usb

All my stuff is ineffective and small (has to fit skinny jeans), or made by cop loving commies. Story of my life.

Oh, but I do have the iphone 6S, which is quite large.

HK P2000SK in a Galco leather holster.
Spyderco Paramilitary 2
Surefire Fury

Work clothes - Colt Government Pocketlite.
After/ Weekend baggy clothes - Beretta 92

Stock G-19 gen 4 with Truglo sights in crossbreed holster with extra mag.
Warning: learn from my stupidity. As I wrote this I looked down at my extra mag on my side. I forgot to change out my mag and am still carrying my shield mag while carrying my G-19. I am dumb, learn from me!

CZ P07 in a Muddy River Tactical iwb at about 4:00 and owb extra mag at about 8:00
Streamlight ProTac 2L clipped in left front
Cheap Kershaw folder clipped in right front
Relatively recent addition to EDC is Pom pepper spray clipped in left front with the light. I'm surprised nobody else on the thread has mentioned pepper spray yet. I would sooner go without my gun than go without my light and my pepper spray. Not that I plan to go without my gun.
Wilderness Tactical Instructor belt. (Planning to get one from Gunbelt when this one wears out!)

And here's an admission...I don't carry a tourniquet. I really hate that I don't carry a tourniquet, and I am trying to figure out how to get in some medical training at Apex Defense Group so I am better able to deal with trauma if I need to. I have some background in that kind of thing, but frankly my training is 30 years old and I don't think I want to rely on it. Once Ryan puts a Tac Med on the schedule that I can actually get to, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna figure out how to carry a tourniquet with me.

Regarding Billy's question: this is on me all the time, including when I'm at home. (Minus the pepper spray--I only carry that when I am out and about.) For purposes of the NSA, though, I should make sure to point out that for several hours per week I have to spend time in a place where it's a felony to carry a gun. I am not saying here that I carry a gun in that place. I will say here that I definitely have my pepper spray. I've also had training on the use of pepper spray (FPF Training in Culpeper VA), and I recommend that kind of thing to y'all. There's more to think about than I would have guessed.

You are a Battery Oaks Alumni, that means we all continue to learn. If it makes you feel Any better, I know a cop that went to Work and pulled his shift with No Mag in his sidearm.

I have gone back to my trusty ol' Glock 19 daily after my embarrassingly poor performance with my Glock 42. At home, I pocket carry a Glock 19 that was finished from an 80% kit.

Gun varies but this week I've carried a Glock 26 in a Dara iwb holster. Am waiting on the rain to stop to shoot my new 48 that will probably become my edc. I'll also carry a S&w bodyguard or PPS M2 at times. Winter time I might carry a full size OWB.

During the day I also carry the following

Spyderco police 4 lightweight right front pocket.
Pelican 1910 flashlight
Spyderco Dragonfly salt serrated
Bic lighter

At night I add a Surefire EDCL-2t or 1t
Might go for a smaller knife too.

Forgot to say I always carry a spare mag.

SIG P 365 plus NEW YORK reload S&W mod 340PD Jframe 357 mag also have extra mag and speed loader in pocket. Usually I have one of my AR 15 pistols in the vehicle with me. Better to be prepared than not. You never know when a semi-auto will malfunction. The revolver will always get you home. Next time I'm at Battery Oaks I'm going after that wizard with a J frame Smith.
