Each of our vehicles has a kit similar to below, this one is the house / yard kit and accompanies us when we are doing work on the property or using the tractor, hence the dirt...

The ones in our primary vehicles have a bit more since the house kit is supplemented by other kits in the house.They have a pocket mask, SAM splint, small med kit (Aspirin, Epi, Benadryl, Pepcid, Anti nausea, etc)

Dark Angel Medical ankle kit. I've been wearing it for about 16 months, and have been impressed with how well the sleeve has held together.

From left to right:

SOF-T Wide TQ
NAR ETD pressure bandage
Gloves
Gerber folding utility knife
Quikclot gauze

I would prefer a CAT tourniquet, they are way easier for me to use one handed, but I found it was too bulky in this kit.
 
Jerzsubbie, I have almost the identical pouch and set-up as you. I carry the Maxpedition FR-1 pouch attached to my day pack so I can easily detach it if needed. I keep the same pouch in the truck. About the only item you have in your kit that I don't is the SAM splint. I did not know about this product till now, so thanks. What size is shown in your pictures?

Edit to say that I even have the same FA patch.

Joking aside I got CPR trained at work so at the very least I need a mouth shield to carry because I'm not getting cooties saving some crackhead's life as I am now apparently legally obligated too.

Suggestions?

I recently took a non-certificate CPR course and they explained that CPR is now recommended to be performed only use chest compressions. No more mouth to mouth breathing. The chest compressions are what keep people alive.

I chose to go with the below SAM Splint, half the price of the branded one and still gets great reviews.

The Red Cross de-emphasized rescue breathing years ago, going to straight chest compressions (assuming no AED is available) until the bus gets there.

Mine are very basic trauma kits: Gloves, CAT, Quick Clot gauze, chest seal, bandage. One in each vehicle and 1 in the range bag.

Which is good, because most filthy folks aren't getting rescue breaths from me lol

Good looking kit. A suggestion though, take that tourniquet out of the plastic. When you’re needing to use one is not the time you want to be messing with packaging.
