Didn't make it to Hickory as planned. Got caught up in building a Murphy bed from scratch. Hoping to get to this one. Anyone else planning on going?

Pondering it... but post-holiday economics dictates a trip to the Toy Tent may not be the brightest idea.

Did you post your Murphy Bed project in the DIY thread? Love to see it.

No, I didn't. Didn't know CFF had a DIY section...lol. I'll see if I can find it.

I may go Saturday if expected company cancels.

We ain't gonna git that legionnaires disease if'n we go this time are we?

We will be there.

How did you do?
I was there Saturday Morning and it was shoulder to shoulder.
Same...I was there around 11:30 Saturday and could hardly walk through. Picked up the ammo I was after and got out as quick as I could. Though @cubrock did have an awfully tempting S&W on his table.

For how huge the crowd was, we actually didn't do all that well. One of the poorest Asheville shows we've ever had with regards to sales. We sold only 8 guns the entire weekend. People were buying mostly small stuff - slings, ammo, etc. The only thing that saved our bacon was some stuff we were able to buy at really good prices. In the balance, it was a profitable show and I'm not complaining, but over 4500 people came through the doors all weekend (which is a HUGE crowd for this show). With that kind of crowd, we should have sold 30 or 40 guns.

You never know. At least you didn't lose money, I have done that at shows.
You really busy when I came by, catch you next time.

Yep. I have lost money at shows, too, so I'm not complaining at all. I'm sorry I missed you, particularly since the vast majority of my "busyness" was dealing with tire kickers. There were a ton of them this show.
