Who makes them and what are the best M1A1 stocks for the Ruger 10/22??

Thinking of getting my son one for his birthday in June. He loves WWI and WWII history and I think he'd really like it.

If you are indeed going for the M1 replica I would get the stock and then order Tech sights they will be better than the factory blade sight think they use a small ghost ring
That's my other question...what's the difference on the ts100 vs ts200?
200 just have a tad MORE adjustability??

I personally have neither nor used with this stock, I have shot both and they are fine.... It seems to be user preference and depends on length of barrel and how close you are sighting in. For 25yrds the ts100 allows a better cheek weld and can get zero, the ts200 model may not always allow a perfect zero at 25yrds due not enough elevation adjustment. Most people zero 22's @ 50yrds, 75yrds so that may not be an issue. Appleseed events all shooting is @ 25yrds and peep sights are often recommended. 1 person at the last shoot have ts200s and said he had a hard time getting a good zero at 25 but was fine at 50. .. . ..

IMHO - go with the 200's. They adjust wind and elevation from the rear as well as elevation in the front. I had a set of the 100's, and ran out of adjustment. Ended up replacing the rear anyway.

Agreed, was about to post that

What's the best route to build this M1a replica 10/22?
Buy a new 10/22...& Then buy the eabco stock?
Buy a Ruger receiver, buy a barrel, buy the stock?

It'll be cheaper to buy the whole gun and swap out the stock. You can usually get them for around $180. By the time you buy all the parts (receiver, barrel, bolt, trigger group, pins, vblock, stock) You'll be over that.

You can get better quality buying separate, but you'll pay a little (or a lot) more.

One note - if you do build, you probably want to make sure you have a OEM profile barrel - as I don't think the tech sights will work with a .920 barrel.

TS200 had windage and elevation on the rear, other one has just windage. Get the TD200, absolutely worth it.
