Got the 510c and love it! Recently ordered a RMR cut slide for Glock and I'm seriously thinking the Holosun 507 or 508. Anybody have experience?
I got a Zeiss LPVO around Chistmas and left the nob on and the battery was dead next class. Holosun battery life i s 5+ years...
My single gripe with most LPVO. Turn it on at match. Next match, replace battery and repeat.
I am anxiously awaiting the day of shake awake 50,000hr daylight brite LPVO! Luepy has a nice system on their VXR Patrol and other scopes.
Yea, i gambled on the Zeiss name and that awesome price they had at Black Friday, but the damn thing is so dim in day light it ... well... i pulled it off my new primary (14.5 AR from Larue) and put it on the 16 inch Aero which is now the backup/distance gun. Stuck the 510C on the Larue.

Wife got me a 507c for Christmas for my AR9 dang thing died while at the range figured it was battery nope it’s dead as a door nail. Sending it back
What slide mounted optic sits the lowest?
I use blue. I torque to 16. That is not very tight.Question for you guys on installation. Is blue loctite fine for set screws? It says 9-15 inch pounds on torque. I don't have a torque tool that goes that small. Snug it and give an 1/8 turn be okay?
ETA: Read online where some say use purple loctite..

Not a fan of Trijicon (or price)?
I tried LVPO but it wasn't my bag. I did not train enough to get fast, so I went back to RDS.
I haven't bought into having them on the pistol yet....
Actually, I am a fan. I use one on my pistol.
Just haven’t found a LPVO from them I like yet. Haven’t tried them all though. But for the money, I’d stick with what I have or buy a razor most likely.
I went to the LPVO and it took some getting used to. Now it feels about as fast for me as a dot. Critical to have a bright and crisp center dot, imo.
I like red dots too. But on my carbines a LPVO is pretty nice once you get used to it.
I don't know much about trijicon's LVPO's, but I do know they don't need a battery.

Yeah, I have the Leupold VX-R Patrol, don't love it. I don't game, and I don't spend enough time with it to get fast for HD application. But I can understand and appreciate why people like them.
Keep an eye out on Bass Pro and other catalog sites, it seems once a year they blow out inventory on them and the price get's down tp almost $320 or so.
