Vacation Spots 2020

Hope you have a fun and safe trip. I think we are planning a beach trip, a mountain trip, and possibly to TN for a reunion kinda deal.

Colorado in March skiing with the grandkids. I doubt I'll take many pictures though cause I'll be busy trying to keep up! At 10 & 8 they can ski all of Aspen Mtn.

Gonna be a busy year for me... Florida (Tampa/St Pete) in a couple weeks, Ireland end of April, Yellowstone end of summer, White Mt National Forest, New Hampshire in October, and possibly Columbia in November... Going to Toledo to visit family at some point too...

Maybe a family reunion in Buffalo/Adirondack area in Sept?

Plus several weekend trips on the calendar already... Stoked...

That's a trip in a year or two. Interested in where you end up traveling.

Stayed in norris campground in 2018, fcfs. Nice, central within the park, but no showers (not really a huge deal, you can pay for showers in the main campgrounds).

This time we're staying in grant village.

Make reservations early! A year out is best, campgrounds fill up fast.

I was just in St. Pete with the camper.

Dali museum, Columbia restaurant (Tampa), The Mill for brunch, Ted Peters smoked fish (mullet was best), St. Pete Brewing Co., Three Daughters Brewing.

St. Pete is great.

No doubt. I have family all around there. I'm usually there several times a year. Love the new Dali. Bodega on Central for a cubano, Jo-el's grocery for kosher sammies, Pan Filo's in Clearwater for shark tacos, Sawgrass Lake Park, Cigar City Brewing, Bich Nga for Vietnamese food, Sugar Daddy's for milkshakes at Medeira Beach at sunset... Such a great area... and the fishing...

Upcoming:
March - Racing in Bradenton, FL
April- Racing in Atlanta
May- anniversary in Belize
Sept- Racing in Indy
Nov- hopefully back to Indy (if we win the championship!)
Dec- Aruba

San Diego in April for an academic conference (still get a day to visit some sights)

Disney World in May, probably, if wife has her way (oldest starts kindergarten next year, so this is the last year we can take vacations without upsetting the state).

I envy you guys. I have not been on a vacation for several years and this year will be no different. Been on FMLA and had to use up all of my vacation and personal time first.

Ha, good thing you are a shooter! Be safe.

Were Detroit and Baltimore unavailable? :D
Lol, I did those places last year and cost of spent ammo almost put me in the poor house. Hoping these places will be more budget friendly in terms of ammo and less time at the police station. ;)

This is the first time we are using vacation days where we don't know anyone. It's been 40+ years and it's well over due.

I've heard of this thing called a "vacation." We've got to try it out sometime.
