What have you recently purchased that is firearms related?

I'm pretty much immune to this thread, thanks to my new year's resolution of not buying any new or used firearms in 2020.

What about net neutral purchases? Sell a gun a Gun and replace it with something else.

You take your loopholes and leave!

But seriously, goals have shifted suddenly and I had to put a stop to the cash leaving here for stuff like that.

Meh. 100 rounds of Underwood Xtreme Defender 90 gr 9mm +P+, a Harrison U-notch combat rear sight kit for the 1911 (along with a trip to the gunsmith for some sight fitting work that I have neither the tools nor the skills to do myself).

*** And I like this thread just fine. It keeps me humble by comparison. :(

You can do it!

I managed to not buy any guns after the Glock, which was on 4.30.2019, after both my carry guns broke! lol. Only Millie can break 2 guns in the span of about a month.

And I probably won't be buying any this year, due to all the $ that flowed out of the bank account between TGiving and mid-January for pet and car issues!

Sometimes it's good to be poor! lol.

Glock 23 LEO Trade-In

AIM Surplus has them for $299.95 w/ one 13rd mag, hard case and night sights; Tax is added to that and shipping was $12.59 for Priority Mail

ETA: also just ordered a recoil spring/guide rod assembly...figured I’d swap that out as preventative maintenance and call it ready to carry

$22.66 tax added, in case that’ll rule it out for you. :p

That actually does help. It’s not that I’m against paying taxes, it just allows me to now close out the tab on my browser and move on.

The guns I looked at at Jim's were overpriced for what they were. They didn't include the original accessories like the extra mag the guns came with, were a little beat up, etc. I tried seeing if they would knock off a few bucks but the guy said no dice.
That's okay. I'll find them somewhere else at a lower price eventually. Frequently available on armslist for the same price in better condition. I'm trying to collect the set, not buy my first for an emergency.

I’ve done business with the Faircloth family for decades, and they have always treated me well. Their employees have always been respectful and knowledgeable.

Some things are worth more than a few bucks difference in the price of a gun.

Oh man, you were right there at my favorite gun case? I try to avoid it, now that I have no money!
Nice find, I'm jealous!
PS I got my .45 there! Nice!

She came in today. Sometimes having an FFL is very counter-cost-effective.
