Dude, what the dang heck.
14 year old charged today with the murder of a college girl in NYC
His accomplice was 13...

Im not on a 'the world is going to heck in a handbasket' kick, but this is just wild as heck

This is a prime example of why you do not allow politicians to make self-defense decisions for you.

Iā€™d bet a quarter that his statement went/will go something like ā€œwe were bored, we figured weā€™d walk around the park to see if there was someone to rob. I wanted some new shoes, dummy2 wanted some AirPods, ... so we robbed her but she fought back.ā€ Too bad NY politicians have disarmed the law abiding citizens by making CCW almost impossible.

Dude, I dont know if you knew or not, but now in NC if youre under 18 you dont get anything in terms of consequences. It's ridiculous and needs to be overturned.

Watching a 13 and 14 y.o., convicted as adults and then sentenced to decades (hopefully several), might help to wake up a few other yutes.

The age shouldn't surprise you at all. In big cities the average leader of gangs are something like 16. That stat is a little old now so it's hard to tell if it's still correct. I took a gang class in college 18 years ago and that was the info. The instructor had been let into a large gang unit in Cleveland to do a study the members. Then did a stint with a gang leader who's big rival was 13 years old and had a verified 14 murders of his rival gang. They were very much a rank and file system like a military system. So 13,14 16 years of age doesn't surprise me at all. I had told a 16 year old banger in my town that if he didn't change he would be dead before his 17 birthday. In return he told me one day I'd be working for him serving him steak. Less than 6 weeks later he was dead.
 
I was a sub teacher for a bit right after college. "children's village" had a hard time getting people to fill in and called me back a few times because I didn't scare quite as easily as some others. I learned the trick was to tell the whole class that they were about to get free time restriction and i'd tell the guards that somebody stole a pencil because larry, moe, or curly wouldn't act right...
I don't care how many gas station attendants a teen has killed, when he's faced with 30 other teens angry about the thought of getting their cavities searched and being put in lockdown for another full day, he's gonna settle down a bit.
It was probably a little unethical... but once or twice it was either that or get into a physical confrontation when one of the boys wanted to flex. I'm not a big guy and I did not fancy the idea of having a couple of young murderers gang up on me. No guards, just me in a locked room with 30 young inmates.

Still, that was a lot less stressful than handling the girls' classes. Even with a chaperone in the room, some of the underage girl inmates just wanted to get ... grabby.
 
"children" that commit "adult" crimes should do "adult" time. Until they are held to the letter of the law nothing is going to change. Society had coddled them to the point that they no longer fear the system and will run as rampant as they want to knowing there are no repercussions. I had a face off with 3 of them about 4 weeks ago and they turn tail and haul butt when presented with harsh reality. They thought they were some real bad asses but when presented with the real reason they are NOT, they caved like preschoolers.

Little Angel Boy needs to be placed in adult gen pop and let Bubba have some virgin stuff for a change.
 
At the age of 14, in the eighth grade, we had a 6 weeks segment on the criminal justice system. We learned what the words like felony, accessory before or after the fact meant. We took a tour of the county jail and the court house. As part of the court house tour we sat in and listened to a murder trial where some guy killed a woman and threw her body off the side of a mountain. I knew then that I did not want to have anything to do with none of that mess. My dad told me the day I got my drivers license that if I got in trouble I was on my own.

These kids need the hash reality that they deserve the same fate as the young lady got. Just wait until they are the exact same age as she was, down to the very day. Let them think about the date of their deaths until that day comes. On that day remove them from the face of the Earth.

Honestly, i'm surprised they still even show white women who get murdered. Women are getting raped and murdered daily in our country. Statistically a black woman is about 5x more likely to be murdered than a white woman. I honestly expected that the news would focus more on minority women by now... but i guess that says something about the news.

There are a lot of young, liberal, white women in the media in New York and they are absolutely appalled that women that look like them could be murdered while only out looking to score some weed in the kind of "nice" neighborhoods they live in.

This case is another example that proves my theory that there are two types of crime: that for which restitution can be made and those that canā€™t. Jail / prison will be nothing but a finishing school for that biological trash. It would be best for everyone , including them, to swiftly execute them.

Most of the gangs are using under 18 kids to do their dirty work now because they don't get sentenced the same as an over 18. IDK if these two were gangbangers or not but they could have been "trying out" to be in the gangs. Two worthless thugs is all they are.
