I bought a Gen 5 34 MOS to shoot Carry Optics with. I’ve always done my own trigger work on my Gen 3 pistols. Minus connector, 4.5 # striker spring, reduced power safety spring, and a good polish gave me a 3-3.5 # trigger with a positive reset and clean break.
Out of the box the Gen 5 had a 7# trigger with a lot of drag. I Changed springs and installed the minus connector and polished everything up and it helped buts its still pretty bad even for a Glock. Lots of drag. I’ve opened the ami safety a little wider and polished where it contacts the trigger bar with little improvement. Any ideas???
FWIW I’ve got about 5-600 rounds thru the Gen 5 and a ton of dry fire, so I’m past the “ break in “ period.
