Tolet paper shortage

My wife went to Walmart for groceries walked by while people were swarming. As they cleared the guy had one left and said, " Hey you want this?" She was like well sure I guess. So we have about 3-4 weeks worth again. Normally buy the Costco pack. Which I was talking to a kid that works at Costco. He said they have gotten to were they don't run out until 2-4pm so it must be slowing down a little.

Ive not seen any yet, but I got groceries last night and noticed that shelves were mostly full this time vs a week ago when no cereal, few canned goods etc
They had fresh meat, eggs, canned goods etc
I think it's getting better

TP is one of those things we are normally well stocked up on. One 12 pack is our low limit so we are always good and it is just the wife and I.

As for bleach we had the Chlorox splash guard which we just learned is NOT a disinfectant. But we do have Chlorinating granules that we use for the spa. 1.2 ounces treats 500 gallons of water. So yea we have enough to last a long time. When I buy it I buy 2 one pound containers because it is cheaper and it lasts sever years. The hot tub does not take very much.

Kinda of hit and miss. We have probably 50 rolls but with 3 girls in the house that about 3 days worth. I actually picked up a 20 pack this weekend at a local Walmart and rode it around for about 10 minutes and then went and put it back. Thought someone else might really need it

Last TP outing was unsuccessful. But then, it has not gotten to the state where JT's tracking and killing skill level is required. I am sorrry to say that I live in a household with three other adults who are largely incopeable of caping. :(

Shopping for the gf grandpa Costco in mooresville had none yesterday. said they hadn't had any in a week.

On to Sam's. They had everything paper in stock but only 1 case of the POM which I acquired for another member on here. That apparently his wife and daughter uses a 45 roll case in 5 to 6 weeks.

I feel for him

Not even done with my morning coffee and I've already learned something new.
looks like splashless is only at bout 1-2% sodium hypochlorite whereas normal stuff is 5-6%
I actually mixed some up for the first time in a long time a while back when not wanting to decide if a few spots of something were mildew or mold... I wondered why it didn't irritate my nose as much as i was expecting and why they didn't list the concentration on the bottle like they always used to.

You joke, but my wife's niece has started pre-ripping toilet paper into "enough" for onsies and twosies. Their family has a mom, a dad, and 3 girls... They expect they'll make it to wednesday. The mom has immune disorders and the kids are full of anxiety on a good day... so dad has to pick up the slack i guess.
Of course, they also have new cars every couple years (and a brand new jeep for their daughter who just turned 16), new laptops and tablets, all the nicest new everything...
and you should see the size of their basement that COULD be used for keeping supplies but isn't...

Got lots of old phone books.

Also have lots of periodicals...can't wipe with a pdf file, but I can read them just fine!

I have yet to buy any toilet paper since this all began. I had a normal stash. I will need some in a month. People need to stop buy toilet paper and paper towels unless they NEED THE SHT. People are AZZHLS

Same. but probably only 2 weeks left. been looking for 2 weeks though and seen none. I thought finally though "people must be running low on money they are willing to send on things they will need 2 months from now"....and then the stimulus package was passed. grrrrr.

I’m down to the last couple tickets on this roll so it’s for sale. $1000 dollars and I’ll ship.

Wiping with a cat is easy...washing before the next use is the hard part....
Just flush the toilet, pour in some shampoo, throw cat in, close lid and flush a couple times! There, ready for the next time!

I went to the grocery store last night. Not a single roll of TP to be had. They were also completely out of paper towels, paper napkins, paper plates, and oddly enough COFFEE FILTERS. Every size of coffee filter, and every brand. Gone. Either people are thinking they can make masks with them, or they're planning to wipe their behinds with them.

I have enough TP to last me a few weeks, but I'm getting to that point where I normally buy more.

Grocery store was also sold out of spaghetti noodles and tomato sauce, hamburger meat, and hotdogs. Not a single hotdog to be had in the store. Bread wasn't too shabby, and there was plenty of lunch meat.

The one thing I have found positive about this plight is the bread, if you find any, is fresh. No need to check the dates, just grab and go!

Phew this is showing up Friday, otherwise newspapers to the rescue

When she was a baby (I estimate she was about 8 weeks when we found her) she would run into the bathroom, jump on the toilet and then jump on to the counter. For whatever reason she has a fascination with sinks and drains to this day. I got up one night to take a leak, lifted the lid on the toilet and she ran in the bathroom and jumped right into the toilet. She did this trick a total of two times. Oddly engouh, she really doesn't seem to mind water. In any case, my wife told me to be sure that she was not in the toilet before flushing because she was small enough that she might have actually gone down if you flushed.
