We've had a few of these around here and they all worked just fine. Yes, they have a long DA trigger pull. If I recall, the P-11 was the second small pocket 9mm released just after Glock came out with the G26.

I had one and liked it OK. Sold it fairly soon after the PF9 came out. Still have the PF9. Easy to carry.

Love the PF9.... rotate between it and the Shield

I had no idea they were still making them.

PF9 is a much better feeling piece than the P11.

I've owned both. The PF9 feels better in the hand and has a much-better trigger, but the P11 is more pleasant to shoot due to the wider (more-hand-filling) frame.

I've always felt that the best design would be the P11 frame/grip and the PF9 internal design (action/trigger).

P-11 was the first handgun I wanted when I started the long process for obtaining a permit in NY. I never got the permit in NY (moved here before it was granted) and ended up buying a sig 239 instead. Still kind of want one..

my P-11 is my daily glove box gun. Goes bang every time I pull the trigger, relatively accurate. Cheap enough I don't worry about scratching it, not afraid to throw it off the bridge. I did install an aftermarket trigger kit, vastly improved the trigger pull and it doesn't pinch my trigger finger anymore. I bought it used back when Obama was first elected, paid more for it then than a new one will cost me now

For some reason it’s always been in my list of guns I’d like to own. I finally bought one last year, glad I did now. @David Hall what trigger you put in yours and where could I find one? I’m also looking to put in a stainless recoil spring rod too.

Had a P11 that I carried for several years, and was happy with it. “Upgraded “ several times, but didn’t really upgrade. It’s one of those guns I wish I had back.

cant rember the brand, its been a while. I found out about it on the Kel Tec forum if I remember correctly. The stock trigger would pinch my finger when I fired the weapon, drew blood at one point. AFter I ordered the trigger, I found out about using a butane torch to modify the trigger. The aluminum trigger is much more comfortable.

When I was a broke 21yo in Alabama, I walked into a gun show in Montgomery with about $200 and a chp. I already knew exactly what I wanted. Fifteen minutes later, I walked out with an OD Green P11 and a box of ammo.

Almost 20 years later, and I've still got it. I added the steel pins and belt clip. I used to think I was so cool carrying that thing in my waistband with no holster (and nothing covering the trigger). Now I know how stupid that was. But, the good thing is, the trigger pull was so long, there's no way that thing would go off on accident.

I haven’t fired mine yet, but I’ve heard the stories of the bad trigger. I plan to upgrade, just need to get around to it.

I have owned all Keltecs except the .32. I have owned several of the others on several occasions. I have never owned one that would compare to our SCCY test we did. 1.200 rounds without cleaning, just firing away with ZERO malfunctions.
Yes, I am certain all of you own Keltecs that have Never malfunctioned. I am just saying we have never seen one here that would compare with the SCCY.
For the record, as with Taurus, I think they are both on the cutting edge of "concept".

Have you ever actually shot your pistol? The PF9 is the most painful shooting pistol in the history of mankind. They went out of their way to make this gun unpleasant to fire.
Haha. I feel the same way about my P-11. When I bought it, I was young and dumb and didn't know any better. Now, I would rather shoot any of my other guns. It'll stay in the safe until I die...

Too much competition.....once upon a time I think it was the smallest 9mm compact on the market ( maybe the only also). Now.......everybody makes one. Keltec is going to have to keep coming up with new ideas to stay in business.

Sure! I put 3-4 boxes of 9mm through it to make sure it would function. I know exactly what you mean about unpleasant to fire.

OTOH, I think it's pretty normal for small, light handguns to be poor range blasters...especially in 9mm. The P3AT isn't much different and for the same reasons.

One hint. Take your pocket knife and scrape off the mold line "seam" around the frame (especially around the trigger ) .

They all copied KelTec (especially Ruger)

That little round is much snappier than it has any right to be.
I run 100 grainers at 1,000 FPS from Underwood. Jeff Cooper said "Wild Bill" was the deadliest man to walk the North American Continent . He shot a .36 Colt Navy. A 70 grain ball at about 750 fps. Can you imagine what he coulda done with a .380?? Course Today a .380 is barely good for Anything...so "they" tell me.....injun not arrow.;)

I don't want to get into the "which bullet is better" nonsense, but I'm telling you now... NOBODY WANTS TO GET SHOT WITH ANYTHING.

If all I have is the lowly .22lr, I'm gonna shoot bad guys with it. And, I can promise you it's not gonna tickle...

I have owned several P-11s. No complaints though I sold or traded them. I had several P-32s also. Always on the lookout for white frames so I could dye them. I always admired the light blue and Navy frames. Bring RIT dye to a boil. Cut the burner off, wait until the boil subsided, and drop the frame in. Soak and stir of course. I probably still have some P-32 parts? Maybe some P-11 parts?

I spent a lot of time on the Kel-Tec forum. Everyone was upset when Ruger copied the P-3AT , with the LCP. It was called the Elsie Pea.
