This pandemic needs to end....soon. Or....my wife is gonna work me to death.

So many projects done since this crap started. Today I got the pleasure of putting her farm table together that she wanted.....now the sanding, etc. Sorry for picture quality, was getting dark.

Anybody else about worked to death? LOL.

(Full disclosure: I have to have surgery on my hand on the 27th so I'm trying to get everything done before all the "mandatory" recovery time)

Not because of my wife though. Just stuff I wanted to do, So before I have to waste hours driving to work. I want to get them done. Most have been yard work. Leveling areas, getting the garden nailed down, moving rocks, removing stumps, landscaping... That kind of stuff.

Yeah Ive been productive, little projects in the garage, house, yard etc

I didn't get to do anything. I had to go to work. My boss is a total self serving, self centered ahole. I'm ready to walk out the door any minute but Dems are destroying my country making that harder. I was looking for the rant section..

Been working too but my days off....whew.

Is this the same as driving real fast so you get there before you run outta gas? :)

Big slowdown in $$ work for me, but lots to do around the hacienda. Mulched big slope (so I can quit weed-eatin' it), cut down last 7' of &^*%ing box eldeer tree, rigged a few planters from old tool bins & planted some maters & herbs, bought a $35 shotgun & am reworking it, building an appliance cabinet in the dining area so I can stow some of my kitchen gear...

Can't wait to get back to too much work so I can relax!

Our schedule haven’t changed at work but have been trying to get more stuff done at home. We’re trying to build a pergola over our fire pit that’s about half way done. Next will be clearing some yard that was a pig pen at one point and getting grass established there. Also at some point I have an old barn to disassemble and bring down. It’s never ending.

I'd be more productive with the wife at her office. I don't like to work with her around because she supervises and second guesses things that she knows nothing about. Nothing like being micromanaged while fixing the dripping sink.
I've got doors to paint that I refuse to take on until she's out of the house. She'll nitpick the sanding prep work. It's insane.

Wife is attempting to work me to death as well. Unfortunately for me, working remotely is a permanent thing in my current job.

With four kids and both of us working, we havent had time for "major projects"...but I have been kept busy with small projects that we have needed to do for years, just never got around to it. Looking for someone to fix our deck, pressure washing, installed a new mail box, trimming branches from trees, reorganizing the kids rooms, trying to turn a dining room that was turned into an art room into a makeshift office, homeschool 3 kids, chase an energetic 3 year old, not gain 50 lbs, and somehow manage to remain married.

My dad built a pine table like that that we grew up eating around.
