I haven't been turned away from anyplace YET.... but I got my Karen answer all ready to go... primed and waiting.....

@Bailey Boat posted this in response to being mask shamed. It's very difficult for some to instantly think of a response so some forthought would be good.

What is your Karen response? Take the idea from here and personalize it to make it your own.

The “hey, where’s your mask” thing is unlikely to happen to me.

When I go to a place where most folks expect me to wear pants, I’ll have pants on. When I go a place most folks expect me to have a tie, I’ll be wearing a tie. When I go a place most folks expect me to be wearing a mask... I’ll have a mask. We live in a society, how hard is it to get along?

The “I ain’t gonna ‘cause I don’t wanna” thing is for children. There are plenty of times where I feel like “screw everyone, I don’t feel like following someone else’s crappy rules, I can think for myself”. But instead I do as expected, to better fit in with society.

it's okay to be a sheep. Tyrants depend on it.

Why would you have 3 different ones?? Cops get the same as anyone else....

No there is a difference. Business is their rules, Private citizen is just a pain with nothing to back them up, The cop could be trying to enforce a mandate. So I could see three different responses based off of the differences.

1. Ok sir it's your business and I respect your wishes I'll never see you again
2. Go fill (in the blank) _____ yourself lady and get a your kid vaccinated.
3. I choose not to live by the governors edicts but rather by the US constitution.

Or all three could just be Go _____ Yourself.

Straw man arguments put gently aside ... if I enter a business that requires a mask that had not posted that requirement at the entrances, my response to "Where's your mask?" would be polite but would not be submissive. If they subsequently insist that I leave their business, I will comply out of respect for private property. And then I will do my best to spread the word ... strictly in the public interest, of course. :)

Had an old guy say something about sorry ass people disrespecting others by not wearing a mask to me and my wife in Lowes hardware last friday. It was to my right and I was moving pretty fast as I went by him. I instantly got really mad. I care not what people say about or to me buuut, do not talk to my wife like that. I have even said something to her father about it before, anyway you could call it my "hot button". I instantly thought of something @Chdamn said about carrying and was that comment worth taking or losing life over. It did not lower my blood pressure but it did make me just keep walking and not respond. I chose to be peaceful.

I'll give you something to work with here:

Not wearing a mask in public is somewhere in between inconsiderate and reckless. You're risking the health of anyone you interact with by not covering up your germ hole. Stop being jerks.

Karen: why dont you have a mask? You are trying to kill us all!!!!

Me: starts coughing uncontrollably in Karen's direction and stumbling her way while doing so.
That might get you arrested for assault in this day and age?

I think, if there's anything to be learned from this or the guys that open carry AR's in Subway, it's, "just because we agree on some things, doesn't mean you're not an (jerk)."
I'm not gonna call someone out for not wearing one, but I don't call out most rudeness.

Nope, not doing, not wearing it, don't care what others think. Where them if you want, fine by me. I ain't gonna judge you if you do or don't. Don't bother me with your opinion about what I do. If you scared to go out and are worried about what other people do, stay home. I am required to wear them at work on certain calls, not doing it on my day off when I am not an a call.

"just following the latest WHO guidelines" would be a good one. They just released new guidelines that say if you're healthy, and not taking care of sick people then you don't need the mask. AKA same the CDC guidelines issued in March.

Have you ever seen a Virologist dressed in full PPE? Your cotton panties-based facemask, or thin surgical mask isn't even going to stop droplets coming from yourself much less anyone else.

It's 'medical kabuki theatre' for the masses

Yep. That's the link I just posted above.

If we followed the rules..... we'd still be BRITISH!

I just cough a little, because of my allergies. then apologize for my allergies. or flick a booger.

We have plenty of disposable masks. I can put them on at work and wear them home they're budgeting for everybody to go through at least a couple a day, and we don't really even use them. I've spent so much time measuring out 6ft between chairs per corporate guidelines...
But i have a couple masks in the car. if i have to go somewhere that absolutely requires one, i guess I can put it on. only place i've done that yet is the dr office, and even they were making fun of how bad masks are...

I've long kept a small container of alcohol based hand sanitizer in my car that i refill as needed. That will likely do all i need.

Giving something to work with here: NIOSH rating for N95 masks: Removes 95% of all particles that are at least 0.3 microns in diameter. The N99 and N100 remove more particles, but still only .3 microns or greater. The coronavirus measures between .05 and 0.2 microns in diameter. Your mask won't stop the virus, but it will reduce droplet spread.

Also, the way most people wear and handle them, they're likely increasing exposure risk rather than decreasing it and falsely think they're being safe in the process.

I think you have every right to strap a Barrett onto your back, walk to the grocery store with no pants on, adult toys tied to you like bandoliers of grenades, chop off your arm in front of everybody, and scream racist things at them. Your body, your choice, and you aren't hurting anyone.
Do I think you should do that? No. I think we live in a society, and we should conform to certain norms to get along.
If chopping your arm off was banned, I would support your right to do it.
I don't think anyone wants to deprive you of your essential liberty to not wear a mask. I support your right to not wear a mask. I just think someone's a selfish jerk for not slightly inconveniencing themselves to put sad, pathetic people's minds at ease during a crisis we all have to deal with. What can I say, I think it's nice to be kind to others.

My wife is at the stage in her life that she calls her "eternal summer". She gets hot flashes which often make her nauseous. Wearing a mask makes it even worse. If she wears a mask out, more than likely at some point, she's going to be puking on somebody.

If this is really true, we all should have been wearing one before all of this hoax. We should have one at birth and wear it the rest of our lives, cradle to grave. Germs and viruses are nothing new that just started a few months ago.

I'll put it to everyone as plainly as possible, because, well, facts.

If this isn't going to be a permanent change in lifestyle for everyone, what's the point?

We have a system within ourselves to fight off infection, and it builds upon what is currently there based off exposure to environmental exposures. Isolating ourselves, and most significantly children, from others will lead to significant deficiencies in immune responses in the future.

The intent of the restrictions that are in place was to prevent an overload of the hospital system, not to prevent anyone from becoming infected. Our current response by our leadership is disproportionate to the current load on the system and should be a warning of overreach in times to come. Additionally, most people are sheep being lead to the slaughter that cannot think for themselves, but I'm only a Biologist that works in the pharmaceutical industry, producing plasma serum for the treatment of SARS Cov-19.
