SA Saint Victor Pistol in 5.56 w/7.5" barrel

I never have built one.

I don't have the time to research all the quality parts I need, tools etc.

Having back surgery Friday and just too much going on to worry about any interface items.

Here’s the thread of the build.

https://www.carolinafirearmsforum.com/index.php?threads/combat-armory-7-5-pistol-kit.57487/

I can understand wanting to buy one built with a warranty, though.

I have my 7.5” build, but find it really is too short. It’s a cute toy, but I’d trade for a 10 inch barrel.

The warranty is an issue admittedly.

Right now my health does not allow me too much time for f'in around with trial and error too. The current political/racial climate makes me want a more useful truck/bag gun too. I live kinda rural but if something stupid goes on while passing through my 4 knee replacements make cross country exfil impossible anymore. I've also considered a 9mm PCC but I need reliability.

Thanks for the info on 7.5". They also make a 10. What did you not like of the shorter barrel?

Sure wish you were closer. I’d let you borrow a 7.5” 5.56 and give it a test run. Wouldn’t take long for you to decide if you wanted your own or not.

Muzzle device will make a decent difference in determining if you ever took a 3rd shot. The first shot would be “whoa”. The second would be “it couldn’t have possibly been that bad, let me try it again”.

My 7.5” has a riot brake. I also have an 11.5” with a linear comp. There’s no comparison to how brutal the 7.5” is.

I've only put 500 rnds through it so far and have zero complaints, I'm actually considering getting one in 300 blk.

I have heard good things about that muzzle device.

Your thoughts?

@r1dramma, are you happy with that fore-end grip? It seems like it would be a decent solution to such a short foreend.
I like it, allows me to be able change up my grip and get a good solid purchase, not much real estate upfront with the mbus.

1. Are the MBUS usable with the RED mounted?

2. Who makes the fire and grip?

I wish I could find a 10" inch model in stock somewhere!

3. Is the Holosun useful in the small package?

I have 2
1 is a 10.3 ballistic advantage barrel
2 is a 10.5 psa

I have a law folder on my 10.3 and kak blade thing, and fits in a school sized backpack and behind the back tacoma seat

my 7.5" PSA/Aero/SBA3 pistol is the perfect 'tanker' vehicle weapon, esp with a 60rd mag......and currently riding with me in the truck. a 10" gun may gain a good amount of velocity but I'm not planning on fighting insurgents with armor.
the .357 magnum-like power and 60 rounds is enough to discourage most carjacking / rioting mobs of buttholes intent on stopping me or removing me from my vehicle and the flash and noise should deafen everyone else.

I also have a cheapie CA/Anderson version which is nearly as good but doesn't have some of the nice extras. But it cost about $275 without optic. Currently rocking a cheap Aimpoint clone.

No way I'd pay what SA wants for the Saint or any of their mediocre AR offerings. And they're still douchebags for backing Illinois gun control.

As for the pcc, I went with the PSA AKV, over 4k rnds and not 1 hiccup. I would just get the one with the folding brace which wasn't available at the time.20200526_172017.jpg
