The Redneck Revolt a.k.a John Brown Gun club here in Shelby NC

So they’re against all gun permitting and associated fees - OK
Want to arm minorities - OK
Idolize John Brown & Harriet Tubman - OK (had to google John Brown, but sounds like he fought to end slavery)
Hate the NRA - Whatever
Think NRA = white supremicists - o_O
Against police as a whole - o_O
Want to abolish the government completely - o_O

Seems like they’re about halfway there, halfway to the loony bin.

This is the organization that Dwayne Dixon is in (runs?). The UNC professor who got arrested for carrying a rifle at the protests in Durham after the statue teardown.

You forgot to add that he fought the prosecutor and got his case dismissed because the court recognized that N.C. G.S. 14-277.2 is an illegal and unenforceable law.
As much as this guy is a jerk, like it or not, he's probably done more for gun rights than any of the people talking about him.

I get this feeling that when Charlie Daniels said "what this world needs is a few more rednecks," these aren't the folks he was talking about.
 
I grew up in Shelby so I watched the link to see if I knew anyone (I didn't). I find them far less intimidating than the women on the Shelby High School cheerleading squad back in my day.
