Bubba Wallace = Jussie Smollett?

We recently went to a race at the nearby East Lincoln dirt track. I was reading up on the rules and I found a section showing who had the rights to the winner's engine, ecm, etc. I didn't really get it until now so thanks.
Iirc that's if a competitor requests a teardown after the race claiming the winner isnt legal, if found to be illegal has the right to purchase said illegal parts

Or that's how it was many moons ago when I raced dirt

I am so glad this came to light. All that crap before the race was staged .The garage area is secured nobody but NASCAR officials drivers and crews are allowed in there I don't think anybody would have done that. Will anything be said by the crew the owner or the driver of the 43 car? Don't hold your breath IMG_20200623_184340484.jpg

NASCAR was alerted and contacted the FBI, which sent 15 agents to the track to investigate. They determined no federal crime was committed.

Are you freaking kidding, 15 agents for that crap. Jeeeeez.

Well, Wallace was Jussie light.

although the noose is now known to have been in garage number 4 in 2019, nobody could have known Mr. Wallace would be assigned to garage number 4 last week.”

Hmmm ... that little pull rope that’s been there at least 9 months is the offending object? It is funny no pictures or video were made public until the very end ...

I still say this is a PC BS thing that was spun up for attention for a mid-field driver and team that NUTZCAR ran with even farther to drive their newfound “anti-racism” agenda ... as well as trying to pander to BLM types and supporters ... most here called it BS from the beginning. Does that make us smarter ... more cynical ... or the BLM’s, LSD’s & such just stupid?

Apparently, someone from Wood Brothers Racing came forward and told that they remembered seeing the "noose" last fall. But, NASCAR decided to milk the attention for a few days before saying it was a misunderstanding.

My thoughts on this.....

1- Wow - I wonder how much of my tax dollars went down the crapper for this investigation?
2 - SMDH
3 - Bubba ought to hide in shame for the rest of his life for participating in this as if something serious actually happened.
4 - SMDH
5 - How in the frack does this sport even have spectators? How exciting is it to watch people making perpetual left turns for 3 hours? Don't get me wrong though, I love to watch dirt track racing, but even that has toned down since the 80's.
6 - SMDH

Jesus, all that over a rope pull for a door?

I'm pretty sure that the "noose" was found/reported by a member of his team - not by him. If that is indeed true then he didn't do anything wrong. At least one report I saw said that Petty team said that Wallace didn't even see it. Google is your friend ... unless you prefer not to know the truth

Of course anything you say. Google is king.

Even if that is the truth, when he found out how stupid the whole thing was, he could have put a stop to it. But he played it to the hilt.

Wow.

CNN ALMOST did a fair job of reporting this. they questioned why .GOV still called it a noose in their report. i don’t think anyone said not a noose....but....

one pundit seemed mildly outraged that they just now banned confederate flags and was a little indignant that the rope could have been there that long in that configuration without being noticed sooner...

I am sure we heard full auto gunfire in the video yesterday from Charlotte. How about sending 15 agents down there to investigate? Cricket... cricket... That is what I thought.

Well... I suppose any chance of Kyle Larson getting a "second chance" are pretty much out the window.

As it should be. But he's gotta be sitting at home thinking "man.... I really f'ed up".

Rumor is he may be at Stewart Haas next year, with a major sponsor.

Notice how they keep calling it a noose... it's a fkin knotted rope NOT A NOOSE. Yet they keep the narrative alive.

Meanwhile, no FBI went to investigate the Florida school shooter after 21 calls that he was threatening to shoot up the school. And all the times when a NICS check takes more than three days and the buyer takes possession of the gun, then NICS later discovers he's not allowed, FBI almost never goes after the gun. But let some poor soul post a pic of his kid having fun shooting with him on private property, and the school sics the FBI SWAT team on them.

That’s all they can do. I assure you no one is going to come out an apologize.

Bullsh*t was exposed and there’s lots of egg on lots of faces.

Jesus... So now anytime you tie a knot it's a noose... I have one on my garage door too...
I guess i'm double racist, because I have 2 garage doors with rope...

That garage is so open from end to end, I doubt anybody could actually hang the rope without being spotted. The ceiling height is such you’d have to have a ladder.
monkey fist knot and a sheet bend will do wonders. isn't that something that most every boatman knows how to do?

How does that work??
Does your black side wage war with your inherently racist white side?
Actually, if you do any reading on the subject, light skinned mixed people have historically been kind of rejected by both groups because they don't "look" like they belong in either. Heaven help a mixed race person who wants to do well and succeed in life, because they'll often be labeled an Uncle Tom by some black folks, and often be labled as a "diversity hire" by some white folks regardless of qualifications. I still get enough of that myself for being "the worst mexican"

It sure didn't take them long to put together the little parade in "support for Bubba" before the race either. It was well planned out. I did think it was amazing that EVERY driver participated as well as ALL of the pit crews. Now somewhere in that track full of rednecks there had to be at least one racist SOB that would have refused to participate unless it was mandated by Nascar. Nascar has always had a reputation of ruling their sport and everyone has to play by their rules and have no say so about what goes on. No secret that the sport is suffering and losing a bunch of revenue mainly because it got away from real racing and got so commercial that no one could afford to attend. I agree with @Geezer, Nascar saw an opportunity and milked this for the publicity. To be sure this little incident could have been wrapped up in 30 minutes if a few questions had been asked. I personally don't give a damn if Bubba is white, black or zebra striped. But don't milk a situation and play the race card for attention. How many remember just a month or so ago when the I racing was taking place that Bubba got pissed off in the middle of a race and Quit!! Lost a couple of sponsors and came close to losing it all. Now he has all the sympathy and no one remembers what a little spoiled ass he was recently. I personally don't see why a noose is deemed so racial anyway. Yes a lot of blacks have been hanged through the years, but so have a lot of whites.
I wonder who many of the other drivers and pit crew members who participated in the pre race activities feel like a complete idiot right now. All over a garage door cord and a huge publicity stunt.

I swear to Cow these idgits are gonna cause some big trouble...over BS.

Wallace isn’t even the story. The real interesting story is the sports news sites all had this story in huge headlines. Now the real story is shrunk down and hidden. They got the racist story out, and now they will bury the truth. And the sports writers are amateurs compared to the political reporters.

Do you know where I learned to tie a noose? We had mini courses in high school for something I forget, it was for macrame hanging baskets.
My dad taught me when i was very young because he likes knots. kind of like how he taught me basic gun safety and handed me a pellet rifle to go play with before I could even pump it up myself. He said "this is how you make a noose - it's a slip knot so don't put one around anybody's neck". so I didn't.
